Okay, first off, NBA players aren't 7'6. Next, if you were 800 lbs even at 7'6 with all muscle, you'd be taking 'balloon animal' to a whole new level.

A space marines bones are also genetically enhanced to incorporate metallic and ceramic compounds into them which bring their weight up significantly. Along with that the muscle tissue is more dense and the rib-cage is expanded and eventually grows together and the extra room is used to stuff in new artificially grown organs.

So probably 40% muscle mass increase, 40% bone mass, and 20% new organs for the weight increase. Also the Black Carapace probably isn't that light, it is a Ceramite plate (think high tech future super-ceramic compound that is almost unbreakable) that is inserted under the skin over the ribcage and back and sends telemetry data about the marines organ and bodily functions to his HUD in his armor. Easily another 50-100 lbs.
