whats your gym playlist, /fit/?

I need something to drown out the shitty trap/top 40 crap they play over the radio

Id ask /mu/, but its been especially shitty there lately
Rage Against The Machine always gives me the aggression to power through my strength exercises.
Pretty much their entire discography works.
Neuro or t swift

1989 or Red?
Stick with Muse. Shit's awesome, regardless of album

Drones is really bad though

ive been running every day to 1989. I really hit my peak when "Out of the Woods" comes on. Goddamn that shit charges me up

I only really like half the album though, the rest is meh
1989 duh
I don't listen to music during a workout. Your focus should be on your lifts and music takes you out of the moment. Confirmed never gonna make it if you listen to music while working out.
Synthwave and David Bowie
Blackstar is great, btw
>The Handler
>The Globalist
>Dead Inside

All of their albums have some sub-par songs, but I would easily disagree with you when you say that Drones is bad. They definitely have some solid tracks (and new classics) in Drones.

Run the Jewels

not a big fan of RtJ
I can post some of my favorites which consist of undergroundish hip-hop, house, and trance if anyone gives a fuck/

Listen to 80s Alphaville, A-ha, Baltimora for maximum gains

by all means
trancey energetic shit:

I listen to anime OSTs
Rap Shit

Have some fun stuff:
>Health - Death Magic
>Andrew Jackson Jihad - People who can eat people
>Until the Ribbon Breaks
>Bloc Party - Intimacy
>MGMT - Oracular Spectacular
>Death Grips - The Money Store

Other things:
>Novo Amor (specifically "From gold", "Weather", and "Holland")
>Josef Salvat "Shoot and Run"

Music taste all over the place.

Listening mostly to Disturbed. The new album be pretty good and some of the older ones are really motivating. When I want something different I go for like any power metal band like Battle Beast.

>The Chemical Brothers - Born in Echoes
>Jamie xx - In Colour
>Caribou - Swim
>Milo - So the Flies don't come
>Chet Faker
or just random shit on spotify/soundcloud
Although you named some great artists, I don't think I would lift to any of these except Yeezus
is that the same guy that chokes those women out? the weak should fear the strong, guy, or something?
I pretty much only listen to mixes from edm producers/djs. They're usually 60-120 minutes long, never have breaks between songs, and keep energy and momentum through the entire set. GOAT gym music.

Just go to Mixcloud and hit up 1605's weekly podcast, alternate with UMEK's Behind the Iron Curtain podcast
I love kanye but Yeezus is the only album of his I can lift to. Also cross by justice is a great lifting album album, it's so tough. Those two albums actually use very similar sounds.
The Rat - The Walkmen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipehdaDw7v4

>Rage Against the Machine
>White Zombie
Any Metallica before the Black album

I love post-rock, but it never seems fitting for workout music

latest mixradio playlist with inputs:

- sabaton
- amon amarth
- anthrax

gives me a mix of incredible music from death to power metal (mixradio creates a playlist from those 3 artists and will include similar bands/genres)

I'm having the best workouts with this shit
Manowar, Sabaton, Powerwolf, Rammstein, and Nightwish make up the majority of my lifting music. Manowar and Sabaton especially when I need a major pump up.

For Sabaton, Carolus Rex always pumps me up, or most of their songs about WW2.
Bingo players podcasts used to be pretty good for workouts, but somehow haven't uploaded anything in 2 months. Starting to get worried desu

>muh nigga

I've been using Amazon music, since they have most of Sabaton's discography
I don't know why, but it really puts me in the mood.
Also, almost anything is better than that awful shit they play at the gym.
>Implying I don't know about death grips
>Implying I hadn't been lurking /mu/ for years before i got /fit/

i actually don't really care for DG though
xxx is the superior danny brown album. Great lifting shit, especially the angry songs you can internally shout along with

Nas - Illmatic on repeat over and over again

>not visualizing the realism of life in actuality while lifting
trips confirm maximum autismo.
>meme gripz
This or post-hardcore and metalcore
agreed. not as bad as T2L or TR but still pretty laughable.
I hope they quit like rumors suggest, would really do good for them if they just remember what made them good.
The only songs I like from Drones is Reapers, Handler and Dead Inside (yeah it grew on me)

Anyways to answer OPs question:
-OOS, Abso era Muse (with b-sides)
-Royal blood

open to more suggestions
Something That I'm Not gets me pumped up like nobody's fucking business, I've hit most of my PRs with it on.

Half their discography is aural testosterone if you can manage being called dadrock or an edgy teenager by people on an anime discussion imageboard.

Got into this band through a /fit/ music thread, so many great songs for lifting and cardio

>Listen to A Beacon, A Compass, An Anchor every time I go for a new PR
>Also for driving home after sex
such a sick album. driving drum and bass makes for a mad pump
today I listened to lo-fi blaka metal and some noise punk
Big Black

in the weeks before I mostly stuck to Popol Vuh

>not liking EDM

never gonna make it fagboy.
you I like you

>there are people in this thread RIGHT NOW who don't lift to moonman
I rarely listen to music while I lift - it just fades into the background when I'm focusing on my lifts

However, I cannot run without music blaring in my ears - specifically drum'n'bass (I'll never understand how people can run to anything slower)
Anything by these guys:
>Current Value
>Ivy Lab (not their latest trappy stuff)
>Teddy Killerz
Here are a few of my fave tracks:
Filth by Swans

>all of futures dirty Sprite 2 for back day
>rich gang and young thug for cardio
>future :56 nights, beast mode and WATTBA for chest day
>pusha T and Kanye for Tricep and bicep day
>I also pick notorious BIG, action Bronson, and mobb deep when I'm finishing up a workout. Usually a slower song to wind me down.

Having niggers yell random shit in your ear over trap beats really motivates me more than any other music .

Where does /fit/ download their music from? Preferably FLAC. I lost a lot of my disks over the years and don't really feel like paying for shit again.
Russian Circles
I don't really listen to much music while working out but I can tell you about some cool bands that I bet would be good
>At the drive in
>Metallica's older albums
Audiobooks. Most of the time at the gym involves just sitting there resting.
ATDI is great. Relationship is a solid album
