/fit/ what's your favorite band/album to listen to when you lift?
deathcore/hardcore always gets me in the mood. i used to enjoy it a lot when i was younger, but only go to a few gigs/listen when working out now.
>listening to after the burial rareform album on leg day
This so much, Jamie xx's new album 'In Colour' for exactly the same reason.
I think it's worth a try if you like Burial
Kataklysm => god tier liftan music.
Some 60's/70's hard rock. Zeppelin, Sabbath, Alice Cooper, AC/DC.
No More Mr. Nice Guy by Alice Cooper really puts me over the top since I've been a really nice guy. But now i'm going to make it, so it speaks to me and my goals.
I lost 50 pounds listening to a single album Waking Up by One Republic. I would sync my cardio to All The Right Moves and then as that song ended, I'd move onto the row machine and feel pumped up as the album moved onto Everybody Loves Me. And then I did some misc. bullshit in the weight in the weight room listening to the second half of the album. And then on the drive home I could finish the album off. Now that I actually lift, I can't listen to music because it gets too distracting. But yeah, spent like 4 months just... listening to one album.
>that's what Patrick Bateman would be lifting to in 2016
Melodic death metal is nice. Solution .45 and Scar Symmetry are amazing
To each their own, but I'm also not really listening to them while working out for the lyrics, anon.
Best Metallica album, OP.
I don't have a favorite, but I've been loving pic related.
Just because you dont like the lyrics doesnt mean they arent metal. Maiden sings about the same stuff and im sure youd love to suck Bruce's Dickinson if you ever go the chance to meet them
Gorgoroth, Carnifex, Suicide Silence, Immortal, Hypocrisy are my go-to lifting bands that never fail to get me pumpin
Just saw Suicide Silence last year. They were good, despite whatever you may think of the new singer.
Does anyone have that gif of the two guys playing guitar while one of them drinks beer and the other lifts?
True. Can't really argue with that.
I was kidding with the kpop. It was a JOKE. And I don't give a shit about Maiden because I'm not really a fan of heavy metal. What gets me in the zone is Motorhead and ZZ Top.
WHATEVER IT TAKES
I don't anything else. I'll never get tired of this one
