/fit/ help me. I want to look like this guy. Yet after about 9 months of SS and advanced SS (now transitioning into TM), I don't look anything close. I started skinny but now have a weightlifter's gut which can I guess be described as a "thick core" or "fridgemode"; it bulges out around my waist making me appear bloated like I have a spare tire or a food baby. It's not flab though, I can see my abs and have little subcutaneous fat. Think Big Lenny. Also, my arms are smaller and so's my v-taper.
How do I get to this USMC mode? Ditch the heavy squats and do a lot of pullups until I can do 20? Their maximum score on a physical fitness test is achieved if you can do 20 pull-ups, 100 crunches in less than 2 minutes, and a 3 mile run in 8 minutes or less.
