How many hours do you sleep over the night /fit/ ?
Do you ever take a nap during the day?
Either 7.5 or 9 hours, so I can maximize REM time.
I sleep most effectively during naturally dark hours of the day, so I try to sleep early and wake early whenever I have the opportunity.
When I get into my later 20s, I expect I'll need only 6 or 7.5.
>woke up more tired than before going to sleep
>why the fuck i even went to bed
>doze off for 30-40 minutes
>feel energetic and well rested
6 hours. No napping
I'm prescribed Provigil
It crazy how much more I can get done in a day with those extra two hours, it really adds up.
Also people who nap tend to die younger
Keep in mind this is an academic journal, not some bullshit buzzfeed article
Honestly sleep is my bane I can almost never sleep enough I always sleep 6 hours maybe on a good day 7 days I still can do my 1.5/3/4/5 and improving but I still feel like I need more sleep.
well i cant fight those trips...
8 hours. Nothing better than taking a hot shower after an intense workout. Laying down on your freshly washed sheets after coming out all steamy.
It is blisss desu~
What do you guys suggest to someone who has uni at night two days in a row and than the next day super early. I just can not fall asleep after uni nights, on those days my mind wanders around and thinks about the stuff I learned that night.
in4fit for just meditate bro
Well over some time probably yes. I know guys working night shift - as guards, bouncers, truck drivers and they told me after a while they started losing appetite and getting irritated by anything.
>half an hour siesta if I feel cozy after a wank
literally lay in bed just thinking only about breathing, and whenever your mind trys to shift to whatever it is you are worrying about, go back to breathing immediately. Eventually I get bored and sleep that way.
Sometimes that shit happens. If it's like a once a month thing it's probably not a problem, just go to sleep early (if you feel tired earlier than usual) that day, or if you get tired and it's still night, go back to sleep.
I haven't slept properly in over a month that I can remember, I have restless nights despite getting to sleep just fine and wake up drowsey and don't have as much energy throughout the day. What do fit?
This, works great. Just keep your mind clear of thoughts.
>Extremely light sleeper
>Takes 20 minutes to actual fall asleep
8 hours, straight out, heavy.
An ex girlfriend was a restless sleeper, and I eventually learnt to sleep through her fidgeting or knocking me.
Later, I used this ability to sleep heavy to sleep on journeys to work, in a car, windows down, full speed on the highway (not driving), which only made my ability to sleep stronger.
My flatmate once tried to wake me up by punching me in the balls after shaking my leg repeatedly. I woke up slowly and didn't even realise he had until he told me.
Usually 6.5 hours, sometimes 8 if I have nothing to do.
I don't understand it at times though
>try to sleep at 10pm
>give up and decide to take a dose of ec stack to keep me awake to get some more shit done
I'm sleeping like a baby 45 minutes later
Ever fucking time
>tfw probably have delayed sleep phase syndrome
>Don't feel tired until at least 12 AM, sometimes later, no matter how early I get up and even if I work out hard during the day
>tfw if I fall asleep early (10 PM) my body just treats it as a nap and wakes me up at 12, wide awake
>tfw I have a job I have to get up at 6:30AM for
I imagine myself walking around in a comfy forest or on a tropical island where no worries exist etc.
5-8 hours during weekdays, because I'm a retard. I know I should go sleep earlier, but I just cant fal asleep. I'll try to drink a lot of water and that usually helps me be awake during the day, I'll be crashing after the gym.
If I get minimal sleep I'll fall asleep in class.
10hours when possible, its when I feel refreshed and ready
when I have schoo(not underage, im finishing it) I only sleep between 7-8 hours and feel like garbage
feels bad going from 8am to 5pm in school and then having to do boxing and then eating so I got no time for anything
10 if I don't have to be up at 5 in the morning for work.
Mfw I went to bed at 18:00 last night.
mfw I woke up 4 hours later
mfw I've been up for 3 hours and I'm gonna go back to bed now, to be up for work in 4 hours.
tfw shit job means I lose my consistent sleep gains.
