An ex girlfriend was a restless sleeper, and I eventually learnt to sleep through her fidgeting or knocking me.

Later, I used this ability to sleep heavy to sleep on journeys to work, in a car, windows down, full speed on the highway (not driving), which only made my ability to sleep stronger.

My flatmate once tried to wake me up by punching me in the balls after shaking my leg repeatedly. I woke up slowly and didn't even realise he had until he told me.
