Live in northern scandinavia, ice most of the year round, but got stuff to put on my shoes so makes no difference, paying for gym membership just to run on a treadmill is the most cucky thing you can do

Running in snow is pretty good, because it's easier on your joints. A sunny cold winter day is my favorite time to run. When the snow starts melting it's absolute shit though.

Yeah I run on wooded trails which are usually fairly packed down by bikers+snowshoers

Running on streets/sidewalks in fresh snow is literally hell

I live out in a rural part of Michigan. We get some pretty bleak winters. There are no street lights where I live and most of the roads are dirt and houses are sparse. Running in pitch black in the bitter cold on a rutty frozen road isn't so bad so long as you have a headlamp and keep your eyes on where you're stepping.

I split my time between PA and FL. In the winter, I'm in PA as little as possible, but when I'm there, no I just flat out don't go outside at all. I do all my shit at the gym.

In FL though, I do almost all the time.
