How do i do more chinups, /fit/?
I can do chinups, i just can't do very many at all--even if i use the assisted chinup machine and put really heavy weight on it so that my first rep is pathetically easy, i still somehow fail around 7 or 8. It's like i completely lack stamina in my lats or something. How do i fix this? Low-weight high-rep lat pulldowns as an accessory?
One more bump
Just keep training.
This one is a good accessory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaJhYsCkX2s

Hit failure then do slow negatives. Rest and do it some fucking more.

Do pyramids.
Do 10 chinups then 10 pushups,
9 chinups then 9 pushups
8 chinups 8 pushups and continue till you're down to 1 chinup 1 pushup, as odd as it sounds this will help increase your max reps

In order to more, you have to become STRONGER in the movement.
You get stronger by adding weight, not by repping out for as many reps as you can or by making the exercise easier with assisted machines and bands.
Add some weight with a dipping belt and go for 3 sets of 4-6 reps each.
Resting 2 minutes between sets.
Your strength will rocket up.

Here's what I did:
>Buy in home pull up bar
>Set up in doorway leading to bathroom adjacent to room I sleep in
>Whenever I traverse the doorway, I do a set of as many pull ups as I can comfortably do
Just keep doing that and your numbers will go up

This looks interesting. Any one know if it actually works?
