I've been lifting for some months now, I'm seeing results and I'm pretty happy about them. But my dream body is something like pic related (maybe a bit leaner), yet all the guys I know with that kind of body are less than 6 foot tall, and I hear all the time that tall guys don't get as much gains and never get to look that beefy.
Is it true? I'm 6'2" so not 'that' tall but still taller than the majority of guys I know. I also have a naturally narrow frame.
Tall guys can get the gains but it takes longer than it does for shorter dudes. You've gotta put on a lot more pounds of muscle on a bigger frame than a smaller frame needs to look equally ripped or especially beefy.
Keep at it man. Make sure you're eating enough or you'll never leave humanity behind.
plus taller guys have a much higher tdee
meaning you have to eat more to get ripped.
making gains is sufficiently harder as a lanklet.
~225 here. Still feel lanky, but I feel a lot joocier at 260.
6'2 currently 79kg. I cant get past 80kg its always up and down around 78kg. Id be happy on 90kg or at least 85kg for the moment. Although i am going gym and noticing results, all my weight seems to go straight to my gut and boobs which is weird.
I'm 6'2" myself, currently @ 89kg, my limit was 95kg I couldn't pass (was eating WAY too much) dropped a bit as I looked skinny fat, now i just look skinny
sticky calculator gives TDEE for you around 3k calories, I eat that much to maintain my sub 190lbs, 6'3"
>girls comment how I have a juicy ass all the time and squeeze it when we fug
That is only when they get to know me good enough to not notice my narrow shoulders anymore though.
Will standing press and boxing fix my shoulders or am I cucked for life by my shoulders?
>be hungry skelly in my early 20s
>be cool guy with nice face
>drink, smoke and party
>clothes conceal my undead body
>chicks hitting on me constantly
>it is until we are naked in bed when they discover I look like that guy form the aphex twin video naked
>fuck their brains out with my 8inch schlong
>all of them want more
Don't worry bruh, lift for fitness and fun and you'll fix everything
6'2", 213 pounds here.
Been lifting for about 14 months, started at 170. Initial gains brought me to 195, where I maintained for a while. Recent bulked up to 215 and started cutting. You'll make it breh, just give it time.
Squat - 410
Bench - 245 (poverty bench)
Deadlift - 510
OHP - 175
Pic related is me, about 2 years of progress in pics. Biggest thing I've learned is that it takes me time to fill out my frame. I'm OK with this because I absolutely love the gym. I have a different goal body in mind but my advice is to eat more and lift harder. Let me know if any questions.
> 165 lbs to 230 lbs yesterday
195 cm tall and 98 kg. U can make it brah!
Had a torn meniscus in my left knee at 17, had to miss a couple seasons of sports.
Back is occasionally sore, I see a chiropractor and it goes away. Since I began lifting back problems have gone way down.
Shoulders are what kills, torn rotator cuff in both but surgery isnt worth it.
Naw mate it's all the more impressive if you get just to non lanklet mode as a tall guy.
Just recently i grew up to 6'1.5 but was lanklet.
Less then half a year later everyone was like "dude when will you stop growing? Jokes on them i stopped growing long ago but i just escaped skeletismn.
