That's literally it. Exactly the same thing happens to your body as if you're doing Crossfit, but with numerous benefits, including
>save thousands of dollars a year
>no lifetime of shame and embarassment
>use commercial/uni gym for lifting, use same gym or great fucking outdoors for cardio
>make your own programming, tailored to your time constraints, training goals, training experience, weaknesses, etc
>reduced risk of injury by avoiding Crossfit-specific exercises e.g. kipping pullups, high-rep box jumps, fatigued oly lifts for time
>not surrounded by literal cult members
If you think that lifting+cardio is the causal fitness enthusiast's endgame, just do lifting+cardio. Lifting+cardio has existed for thousands of years, has been a staple of athletic training since before such a thing existed, and is fucking awesome. Crossfit is trash, they just charge out the ass for overpriced equipment, training, and a "community" of fellow retards.
Never do Crossfit. Just lift and do cardio. I'm not doing Crossfit because I'm not a drooling retard. Why the fuck would anyone ever do Crossfit, besides brainwashing?
