You're probably thinking about it too much. I used to be like that, I could stuff myself silly with low calorie shit and still feel like I'm not satiated at all. I stopped being so neurotic and just said "fuck it, I just won't eat that much" and stopped counting calories. Then cutting was easier, ironically. I count them again now because I plateaued at 135 but now I don't think about it so much anymore and it's completely fine. I'll still eat a piece of buttered baguette or two, or have a little chocolate. IIFYM

Fibrous vegetables have a ridiculously low caloric density. As long as you put little to no oil it's like fucking 600g for 300kcal, it's ridiculous. If you include it on every meal with lean meats you can really eat like a retard and you'll still have a caloric deficit at the end of the day. It's also pretty easy to eat 2 of these meals a day.

Honestly, I don't see a reason for anyone to hate a cut. You're probably doing it wrong/not so right.

I don't count calories. I watch my nutrients and adjust how much I eat based on my daily weigh-ins. It is too easy to miscount calories like obesefags and skellies unless you're going full-autistic about food prep. I'd rather weigh myself once daily than weigh every piece of food and look up its info.

I honestly think keto is retarded. If you prefer those keto foods then that's fine but to base a diet around those foods only is retarded.

IF can be good but if you decide to do things normally again you might miss the amount of food you could eat in a short time.

Both are definitely worth a try. Might give keto another go in the future.

i honestly dont think keto is sustainable for longer periods of time, the glycogen depletion hurts any high intensity stuff you might want to do after a few days, its just that with the narrow selection of foods its way harder for me to overeat, might just be me, but it simply restarted my cut, i was stalling hardcore for 3 weeks before i went keto, now im back on track and its looking good going forward, probably gonna stick with it till the end of september, should be done by then

When I was 18-21 I was 6'1 and 145. I had orthodontic surgery to correct a underbite when I was 18, so I couldn't lift or eat solid food for 3 months. Now I'm 25, I'm 6'1 and 172 lbs, 18% BF.

I was a lazy bastard and drank too much beer for a few years and got skinny fat, weighed probably around 180-190.

I started eating better, laid off the beer and became more active (kayaking, surfing, lifting a bit but with a shit routine/shit lifts etc). Also thank got for dat fast metabolism. I started lifting for real recently, and am starting to see results. If you're 6'0+, we're all gonna make it brah.

And to the dude around 150, I'm not saying that drinking loads of beer+being lazy was a good thing, but it got me up to a decent weight to start converting fat into muscle. You should definitely bulk cleaner though.

EC Stack really curbed my appetite I think. Get used to going to bed hungry and if you can't handle the hunger for a day and know you're close to your calorie cap, "cheat" with something light like a Jello. It doesn't take that long to cut down and the longer you go, the less inclined you feel to eat shitty and the more used to cutting you get.

I'd say on my last cut (3 month period) I made a lot of progress. If everyone was eating pizza and junk food, I was perfectly fine with holding out and eating my healthy meals. If everyone was ordering food, I was alright with just getting a chicken salad with no dressing.

It's both mental and technical. Do it right and don't let up.

Carbs is what your body uses first in terms of energy. Then I think it's fats and proteins (I get the two mixed up), but essentially what the other anon is saying, is that your body is currently use to getting carbs as it's main type of energy but since you were cutting carbs, your body was adjusting to using fats and proteins as it's main energy source rather than carbs.

I am 5" 7, I believe, and weight around 130 to 135 lbs, depending on if my stomach has food inside really.

I want to gain muscle but I do not have access to a gym until I move, pretty much in almost a years time, so I have been doing running to improve my fitness.

Use the myfitnesspal app I told you about and really stick to it. You're my height so try to eat at the very minimum 2000 calories but aim for 2500. That's a lot of chicken, veggies and rice in one day. The first few days and week will be real shitty, literally, and your stomach is going to want to say fuck you no more but if you really want the mass keep eating.
