cardio isn't needed for the purpose of abs, though obviously it's a decent idea while cutting for general health and burning some calories (doesn't burn as much as you'd think though).

losing fat is what makes abs appear, you need to eat at a caloric deficit consistently

Hey guise and grillz,

I workout in a pretty well equipped gym and can do everything from kettlebells to plyometrics to olys.

I already did SS (2y) + P/P/L (+ forearm work) Split (6months) and now want to fully dedicate to a 5 times a week workout plan that incoorporates a structure which will allow me to be prepared for real life (e.g. special forces) situations.

Please share your thoughts, ideas and possible plans with me.

My shoulder has been hurting for a few days so I finally went to the docs. Torn rotator cuff, its minor but ive been told not to lift heavy for 6 weeks.
How am I going to survive? My legs and core could use some work, but I really need to work my chest.

Whenever I attempt cardio my knee hurts In this area. ( Today I was on the elliptical for only 2 or 3 minutes before it started to hurt and had to stop, went on a hike recently and had to keep stopping, not because I was out of breath but my knees kept hurting and had to rest them) there's a very minute dull pain after and I can feel heat pulsating in them, doesn't hurt on any of my lifts (squats/deads). Any idea before I go to a doctor?
