How can we harness the power of masturbation for our fitness goals? A while back I started squatting while jerking off (for prostate stimulation, no homo) and I think it helped my calves and quads. Recently I switched to masturbating while sitting in a chair and flexing my glutes really hard, and this gives me a really good glute burn every time.

Do a real hip extension movement like deadlifts or glute bridges.

Got a gym membership today and wanna get in shape. I've never done anything physical pretty much, lost 40 kg by dropping pizzas and sodas 3 years ago but still haven't done anything. I weight 85 kg, am 182 cm. Got my body fat calculated by one of those scales you stand on when I was at 76 kg, was 20 percent at the time, dunno how accurate those are. I have quite broad shoulders and a tiny bit of muscle visibility on upper torso (biceps, back and shoulders) , bit of manboobs and flabby underarms. Most fat is on my belly and legs, belly especially is like a blob of jelly, a hanging sack. Am I what they call skinny fat or am I just fat? No idea if I should try to recomp, bulk or cut at first. Help please?

Forgot to mention, I'm 25.
>>
you lost weight without lifting and your description sounds like your skinny fat.

some people will say bulk, some will say cut. Please don't recomp results are way too long.

If you were too cut you would probably look like a skeleton cause of no muscle mass. I would suggest a lean bulk 300+ calorie surplus and follow a beginner program. Do StrongLifts or SS if you want 3 days a week, if you have more time find a PPL routine

Nothing can be done about wristlets, but you can build muscle either way

I have always had big calves, (it was such that, even back way before I started lifting, and i was really slim with very little upper body muscle, people would comment and say, 'wtf is up with your calves they are huge', people said I had frog legs kek). And I of course never actually did any conscious 'training' them of whatever at all.

It came to me, and of course this is just a theory, that it may have to do with the way I walk. Upon examining the way I walk, whenever I walk, my stride pushes all the way ontothe very edge of the ball of my foot, forcing my calf to 'raise' in order to push my stride through that way. My friends all the time say that I walk way to fucking fast, and I always tell them, im not trying to at all. Its just the my strides go to the fullest point of my calves pushing through the end of the stride.

I may not be explaining it very well, but if you see someone with big, or muscled, or shaped calves, (whether or not it looks like they lift,) take a look at the way they walk. chances are that instead of 'sitting back' onto their heels and sinking into their knees when they walk, they most likely do what i do.

I have always walked like this naturally, so I dont think about it. But it looks like it is not the natural way for most people.

Again, this may be way off the mark, but try just going for a walk around your block or whatever, and push fully through the full range of your calves in your stride. You will probably feel tight in your hip flexor, as it will force it to stretch much more than its used to. But I gaurantee you will only be able to keep up this "full stride" for a little bit before having to go back to sitting back into your heels and knees.

Thats the thing, is ive always walked like this naturally, so i dont even notice it at all, and feel no stress or strain or fatigue ons my hips, legs, or calves. so maybe thats why they have always been big without me ever 'trying' to train them.

Bump because interesting. I walk fast too but I don't think I do this, I'll try it. Though I think it probably has more to with your genetics.

yeah, its just a theory, that may be not even close
but, think of it like,
a couple miles of walking like this would be like....5000 mini calf raise reps. 0.0

Fatty here. Yesterday i was riding my bike up a hill. It was so hard that the pedals would barely move and I felt like I was about to die. In the end, I somehow made it.

So are you supposed to drive yourself to complete exhaustion, or is it counterproductive?

Depends on your goals
Keep in mind that if you murder yourself every time you exercise you'll might come to dread working out. But if you're doing cardio for weight loss more work = more cals burned
>>
>>42465117
Do life weights. It's going give you better results way faster with less time investment.

If you feel akward or insecure try to find someone who takes you to the gym.

This is good for noob gains for sure.

I just got done with a dirty bulk and pushed up to 230lbs. My fucking mile time was literally 10 minutes and I was fucking gassed. Now I'm 195 and can do a 7 minute mile no problem, 6:15 if I want to gas myself out. It's harder to push I feel like when I was fucking huge, which is why diet is so important. Also, anything you can do to lose some extra calories is good too. Park in the farthest spot, take the stairs, do an extra 15 mins of steady state cardio, skip a meal or replace it. Fuck man, coming off of 230 was the WORST time in my life. I felt gassed walking up stairs even though I was diddly 5pl8 no problem. But fuck it man, being that big with that much fat ain't worth it. I can only imagine what it's like to be boogie size trying to lose weight.

Just finish your run off with 10 sets of 100m sprints. Then, yeah, it will make up for it, just in a different way.
