About to start PPL and I was thinking : 3x5 on compounds or 3x8-12?

The internet memes you into doing 3x5 or 5x5 but all my fit friends with juicy muscles have been always doing 3x8-12. Are higher rep ranges goat for aesthetics?

I've been feeling similarly in the last couple of weeks. I've been pushing my numbers on lifts while trying to eat at maintainence and getting pretty bad sleep due to fucking mosquitos and hot nights.

I think I'll be fine once temperatures drop a bit

It's a beginner class, just be humble and it will be ok. Don't make an ass of yourself, you're there to learn.
Work capacity and flexibility would serve you well, do as >>42481844 said.
If you need ideas: jump rope, sets of 3 minutes, 1 minute rest in between, and read the Bigger Stronger Faster book (it's for high school athletes) for a stretch routine.

I lost the last 5kg I needed.
It's time to bulk up and lift harder.

How do figure out my actual Tdee?
like I had to cut below 1500cal/day to lose the last few kilos, but various counters are telling me to go for 3400cals even though I picked the sedentary option (student, only activity is gym).

Also should I try keto while bulking?
