1) Started lifting for girls and for my own vanity. Never had problems getting girls though.

2) Only now lift to satisfy my vanity. I have no game anymore so I only hook up with girls who approach me. Kinda sucks, kinda wish I could go back.

everytime I do a pullup or overhead press
i hurt my upper back near the spine

it's like a pulled muscle or something
i would guess a rhomboid or trap
it's in the rhomboid area
after it's pulled it can leave a swollen lump
it's hard to turn my head side to side,
sometimes there's tightness in my chest

it has happened on both sides of my spine

ive even tried doing alot of facepulls etc to strengthen these muscles before attempting overhead but it didn't work

i can't do a pullup or ohp without injuring it

I sometime get lower back discomfort when i squat. I wouldn't call it pain but it don't like it. How do i fix that ? My form is good, i don't lean forward when going up and my back i straight, chest out, core braced, i don't buttwink etc.

Hey, let myself go and need to lose 30 pounds. If I eat well (more lean meat and salads and less Thai takeaway and burgers) plus some moderate exercise is 2 pounds a week for 15 weeks realistic? If not, what's a better goal?

You literally do not have to squat/bench/deadlift if you don't want to.

Front squats >>> Back squats
Romanian/stiff legged deadlifts >>> conventional deadlifts

Anyone know what causes this bruising ?
I tend to notice after like two or three days of doing biceps and bench.
Sometimes other workouts but i feel like biceps and bench are probably the main one's causing the bruising
