Hey do you do your high-energy exercises like Deadlifts/Squats in the beginning or in the end of your workout?
I personally do them in the end because If I do them in the beginning I feel like I don't have the energy anymore.

Whats your take on this?

you shouldnt be burnt out after your compounds, how many sets are you doing?
but anyways, if its working keep doing you brah
>>
>>42559649
I always do them at the start of my routine, I'd hate to see my bench / squat / diddly go down because I'm already fatigued from isolation exercises. I always do a nice warmup before my compounds though, eg 3x20 push ups before I go bench
>>
Both are always the second exercise of the day for me, they're not tiring enough that I can't finish the rest of my workout, i do 2pl8 squats and 3pl8 deads for reps, I'm also cutting

Medfag here. Does anyone have a screencap of the anon who wrote a blog post on what it was like to die from diabetes? I'm a Medfag and it was probably the best layman's description of the physiological process I've ever seen.

Im currently 68kg, 6.1" (skelly mode) and 19 years old.

My body looks like pic1, how long would it take to get to the second pic, with correct macros and gym everyday?

A year or two. Varies from person to person.
>>
>>42559507
Thanks anon, thats really motivating.

for some reason i had a misconception that a body like that would be min 3 years work.

Also, how fast would riods speed it up? i don't think id ever take them, just interested as my original idea of how long it would take was out by quite a bit
>>
>>42559497
not gonna make it if your mindset is fixated on making it by a certain amount of time

Friendly reminder that if you arch your back even slightly on a flat bench, you're effectively doing a decline press

This is why you should never go below 30 degrees incline on all of your presses, if you want to have a full, aesthetic chest.
9 posts and 3 images submitted.
>>
>>42559304

Makes sense. I can decline press substantially more than I flat benched so people probably arch to artificially inflate their numbers
>>
>>42559304
enjoy your endless shoulder injuries and shitty numbers, faggot
>>
>>42559471
it's not artificial inflation if you're literally bench pressing the weight, there's no artificial part of the weight so your wording isnt correct

What the fuck is wrong with you people? Why do you spread such stupid fucking memes and let people fall for them? Yesterday I did my first GOMAD and it was literally the worst fucking thing ever. 3 hours into my first one (trying to work to 5) and my fucking stomach was cramping and feeling like it was tearing from the inside. I didn't even finish because after I drank the last 1/8th I threw it and my Thai food back up. Stop posting this dumb shit and post actual fitness advice.

>>
>>42559223
I know this is bait but you realise GOMAD actually does work, right? It's for people who are underweight and want to get strong. In addition to a normal 2000kcal diet it adds another 2000kcal or so for barely any money, a shitload of protein, and is easy enough to digest if you aren't a little bitch. Stop pretending people giving good advice are retarded when you're the one not following the advice properly. If you're fat as shit, don't do GOMAD. If you're trying to cut, don't do GOMAD. If you're lactose intolerant, don't do GOMAD. Fuck me I want summer to be over alreadt

Redpill me on cardio while cutting. If I'm already at a 500 kcal deficit and burn 500 through cardio, surely I risk eating into my muscle?

Unfortunately you have to do something specific to you because you are unique, you'll have to figure it out based on your own body because it's not like anyone else's. Based on you photo I recommend yoga.

I wanna look as young as long as I can for as long as I can, (currently 25)

currently I use:
> a specific face moisturizer, moisturizer for my skin,
>SPF100 and a sun hat for when I go out.
>I don't drink or eat any sugar (http://www.prevention.com/beauty/natural-beauty/how-sugar-ages-your-skin)
>omega-3 pills for my workout and for my skin,
>my watch vibrates every couple hours to remind me to stay hydrated,
>eat a fuck ton of antioxidants..
>am guy btw

Anyone else have an obsession with staying young? Anything I should be adding to my regiment?

Just got back from the gym and feeling a bit frustrated. I can't seem to feel that solid skin-shredding pump in my biceps. Did 4×15 concentration curls and hammer curls. Biceps feel tight to the touch but don't "feel" the pump. Notice the same with my triceps on push days. What is a contributing factor for this?

Other than that, set a PR on diddly so I got that going for me, which is nice

>>
>>42558643
Try 4x30 with a lighter weight next time, control and squeeze each rep. I rarely feel a pump either for what it's worth. I stay below 15 reps for the most part.
>>
>>42558643
try 3x50 and do really slow and controlled reps and remember to squeeze
>>
>>42558643
pump doesn't mean much of anything for gains, don't worry about it

Pretty average except I got back to lifting after a long pause. I'm amazed at how I hadn't lost too much strength despite losing muscle. It sucks that your tendons always get sore after lifting for the first time in months though.

Life couldn't be any better.

I am doing well in my classes. I have managed to reconnect with old friends as well as getting new ones. I have basically eradicated my social anxiety and I even got invited to a houseparty that shall take place tonight.

My father and my brothers has started to respect me again. I am also going to finally take the driver licence test next month.

I am happy with managing to leave dyel mode and I am going to try to hit a new deadlift PR today.

My only real problems right now is that I suffer form Tinnitus that makes it really hard to sleep. I also have academic issues with learning German for my german class. I am a Norwegian so the language is not really hard to learn, but the grammar is fucking me up.

I blew it with this girl im on a course with. We've been flirting all week then I throw my spaghetti on the floor texting her. I sent 5 messages one after the other last night and she didnt text back. I SUCK at texting. How can I be so funny in person but like a robot on texts. Im gonna call her, so she can hear my masculine, gravelly voice and get wet over that.

Also found a gym buddy, yay. No longer that awkward loner in the gym. Now im that awkward loner with someone.

could this replace squatting? if you would have to work against same force as with barbell

The weak point is your arms and grip, but hypothetically yes, it's mechanically pretty similar to a squat.
