Do you take cold showers?
>>42579285
If I need to wake up quickly in the morning I have a cold shower. Only in that situation though, don't see much of a point otherwise
>>42579302
Does that really work? Don't you get sleepy a while later?
after working out yes
morning I start hot then end cold to wake myself up more
What made you want to start lifting?
>be me
>10th Grade
>absolutely zero positive attention from girls
>bullied by stacies at school for being fat (early 2000s fat, not 2017 fat)
Fast forward to age 30, I'm still lifting, aesthetic as fuck, muscular, lean...but I'm still too emotionally fucked up being shit on by girls as a teenager that I not only hate women but I'm also terrified of them, so still a HHKV never approached a woman and I always ignore women who come onto me.
I guess in a way my mind sees females as a threat to my mental sanity and happiness, because all I experienced with females during my developmental years was extreme negativity.
Strike fear in the hearts of my enemies
>>42579215
Get over it pussy
>>42579224
I haven't been able to. Been seeing a clinical psychologist for it this year trying to get over it.
I mind just sees females as a threat, pure n simple.
It's become so bad that I even feel this way towards my sisters and mother now-days.
I started getting back pain a month ago and was recently diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis. Ive been told I should no longer do barbell squats, deadlifts, bent over rows. qq. Should I just give up? How do I replace the most important excersizes? Hack squats vs leg press?
Ankylosing Spondylitis basically means that my spine will fuse together if I'm not careful
if you only care about building a nice looking body none of those excerscises are important, they just happen to be the 2 main power lifting movements
powerlifting doesnt eqaul body building. you can build a good back using machines for christ sake, and honestly chin ups and pull ups are better than bar bell rows.
i fucked my back doing dead lifts yesterday so im done with them now. and leg press is better than hack squats

Thanks for the advice.
When you're working out, what's the acceptable amount of pain you should stop at?
Like, it's easy enough to just ignore the pain and keep going indefinitely.
But pain is your body's sensor for when something is wrong.
So I feel like ignoring it could end causing permanent damage.
>>42578927
>Like, it's easy enough to just ignore the pain and keep going indefinitely.
No. It's not.
In most cases you'll know immediately when you've pushed yourself past your limits. The pain from snapping your spine or tearing a muscle in half are completely different than the pain you get from exerting your muscles.
Pretty sure I just responded to some b8
If you're getting pain you're doing it wrong.
The question you should be asking is, am I getting better at the lifter, stronger at the lift, more explosive with lift?
The whole pain shit is a meme, aside from specific type of training methods, like training to get a burn for releasing tons of mitochondria into the muscle, which has been found to assist in the growth of muscle. (Check out some of Dr Mike Israetel's work on that)
>>42578927
I guess it depends on what kind of pain are you feeling. Are you talking about muscle soreness in certain amount of reps? Joint pain after workout? Do you mean to the exhaustation training to failure?
Post pics of chicks letting themselves go.

Fat. Take you R&B clubrat word and your delusional mindset somewhere else. Also I like cottage cheese but not that kind.

How do I make sure my posture is good while also having to sit at a desk many hours a day?
Should I abandon the desk and make sure my computer is at upper chest height to use properly?
>>42578870
I have all four of those
>>42578870
>tfw both lordosis and kyphosis
Sit on the floor and use a futon.
Put your computer on the floor too.
Furniture and comfy is what ruins your posture.
> "Now, it's like I try to calm myself. I try to focus. Deep breaths. Close my eyes and just get into a state where there's nothing around me. I block it all out. It's just me and that bar in front of me. I know what the goal is, and I set up to do that. And no matter what gets thrown at me, I'm still in that same state."
>>42578847
I don't have any but I want to see some, I'll bump for you

>>42578834
he's brain dead. it took 15-20 minutes for the ambulance to arrive. he was without oxygen for too long. he's only in a medically induced coma because there is a chance the brain can repair itself in that state. Odds are he won't make it. The same thing happened with Carrie Fisher.
Has anyone here been able to permanently fix their anterior pelvic tilt?
My lower back is killing me.
your posture turned to shit after a long time of bad habits, so its going to take a long time to get back to normal
roll hipflexors with a ball, strengthen abs, mentally straighten your posture no matter what youre doing
>>42578826
Is using an ab wheel ok for strenghteting my abs in this case?
Also, doing pic related and this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wNy_hpcjOdI

You can look good no matter how ugly you are
Bieber had:
Ugly eyes, negative canthal tilt, with bad brown color and too much upper eyelid exposure.
Bad skin (now 2017)
Blonde (is a femenine trait and it's bad on mens, every man look 10x times better with dark brown or black hair)
Narrow jaw
Average Chin
Average Nose
Average Lips
Bad Small Forehead (front the side looks femenine)
No brow bridge
He is a manlet
He has no frame + wide hips (and it's becoming fat)
He still become famous because of his looks.
How the fuck this shit happens?
This is the people who should be famous because of looks
>>42578571
bieber was never ugly
>>42578571
it's about proportions and symmetry and most of your claims are invalid.
dont post ever again
Sup /fit/, how long will it take to do 8 pullups with my bodyweight on the waist and 8 dips with 2x my bodyweight on the waist. My weight is 185 lbs.
Should I focus only on pullups and dips & their weighted versions or do some supplementary exercises with weights? I have a bar + dips at home and a belt to hang weights on my waist, I'm planning to hang kettlebells.
You want to do eight dips with 370 pounds on the belt? That's rich.
>>42578567
Yeah exactly!
m8 either you re trolling or you ve fallen for a meme.
just in case you re stupid enough to be memed realize a guy like Big Ramy at 300+ lbs does body weight dips with nothing added on.

It is fucking hard, but it is working.
Who else is having a turnaround 2017?
Went from 245 to 177 thanks to /fat/ - but now I'm just skinnyfat. Oh well.
