YO BACK THE FUCK UP FOR A SECOND.
Taking finasteride fucks up with muscle building? Is that true? Any /fit/izens here taking hair pills that had any problems making it?
it makes me feel drowsy / cloudy headed and god knows what else, tried it 3 times now but it's not for me.
I heard it can drop your strength a little
>>42496071
been on it for over a year now, no issues whatsoever.
no brain fog, no dick problems, nothing. i'm actually about to go bust a nut right now. making steady strength gains.

FUCK WHAT DO YOU DO NOW
>>42495707
We take them back
Even if it means becoming demons
>>42495707
Use the powers of the bigness, to kill the thief. I would not take my gains back; instead, I would use my
muscle powers to regrow them. Then, I would walk away.

boss...
Does anyone know boxing programs that are similar in terms of all around and generally good like VJB? Im trying to learn but I want to make sure I'm learning the right stuff.
>>42495695
Also is there any truth to the Wim Hof method? Has anyone had success with it?
Is it a good idea to do dry land exercises as well as swimming? The past 6 months all I've done is swim and I'm in pretty decent shape now but I'm worried that if I carry on just swimming I'll get muscle imbalances in some way. Anyone got any experience with this?
One of my best friends was a swimmer on his schools team for like 5 years, and he ended up with broad shoulders, but absolute baby legs and glutes. He never touched a gym while swimming. Not that he wasn't healthy, just had big muscle imbalance (and not the kind where he had big muscles, just underdeveloped areas compared to what he trained for many years). So from my PERSONAL experience, I'd say go to the gym as well.
>>42495526
Post pics, I'm curious what 6mo of nothing but swimming looks like.
Also yes lift weights.
How the fuck do I get rid of this?
Just Rest/Ice/Compress?
I just wanna bench and I even do tricep extensions
I run peptides... otherwise maybe stretching to warmup + heat/cold post workout + diet rich in nutrients to speed up tendon regen.
>>42495214
Do your curls.
But first, and more important, go to the doctor. Once your elbow is nice again, don't neglect curls.
Just 2-3 sets of hammer curls and 2-3 more of whatever you want. Do them at least twice a week.
>>42495262
What peptides you running?
I am feeling depressed right now, and I am going for a 5k run
you know how I know today is the day I break my PR?, because I am depressed.
I wish things could get better
A PR will make you feel better for a couple minutes, though. And when the depression ends, you'll feel better knowing you did some good work. Keep at it, I've been there, too. Sending good energy your way
damn. hope you feel better.

You're going to make it anon.
This is how we improve ourselves, lifting our feels away. Wreck your body and blast your P.R
Might not fill the void in your heart but you'all maybe feel a bit better.
Godspeed
Who here lifts to maintain his sanity and grip on reality?
After a couple of days of no gym or intense physical effort I start to downspiral into this black hole of irrationality and moodiness. I think I'd lose it in the end.
I'm the same way. Don't know why.

But congrats on the mire.

I live in a small town with no people to really hang out with. I'm currently working on my startup business that should hopefully be in full force at the start of 2018 and I can then move out. I'm thinking of going full cocoon mode until then, because I want to be the best version of myself that I can be (so that I can also attract the best mate in a new city).
I'm going to be bulkin hard and liftan 6 days a week
I'm going to be working on my start up as hard as possible, probably 14 hours a day
I'm going to be as introspective as I can and listen to audiobooks as much as I can
I'm going to eat tons of protein and tons of veggies
Only problem is I dunno how to stave off feelings of loneliness and the desire to have a qt gf. It's not in the cards. How do I stop that? I don't watch porn or fap.
Self improvement / cocoon mode tips general pls
You need to comunicate with people like you, keep a record of your progress, find a hobbie where you can express yourself, like singing, playing an instrument, painting, carpentry.

>self improvement
more like self-fuckup
We are building perfect physiques here fellas. You guys are all impatient and it will start to show.
>>42494608
can confirm
>redpill me on simple sugars for glycogen restoration
its a meme unless you trained in a fasted state
>>42494597
not useful unless perhaps you're an endurance athlete, and even then, only useful intra- and not post- workout
Jay Cutler likely takes a dose of Humalog, fast acting insulin, with his post workout protein and then consumes some simple sugars so his blood sugar doesn't tank
>>42494597
On an associated subject I've had good results with having some carbohydrates with me during a workout. Fuel made for endurance athletes works well, something using maltodextrin for the carb source. Also the electrolytes are a good thing since you're sweating and losing some of them. All you need is 200kcal per hour to keep muscles fuelled for the anaerobic activity that is lifting.
