I have a chronic shoulder injury from a (non gym related) incident a few years back.

Damaged ligament and cartillage, had very frequent dislocations.

Had surgery a few months ago to stop it dislocating from everyday activities but it still remains very much a bad shoulder, seeing a physio and sports doc to see if some kind of rehab is possible.

Anyway, I started lifting a few months ago on StrongLifts and later ICF but realized pretty quickly that the shoulder was a problem on a lot of the lifts, so I started looking up substitution exercises to still be able to train in the mean time.

I can't hold the bar in position with any significant weight in the Back squat, so I replaced these with Hack Squats.

The hard limit for the normal grip bench press beyond which I get significant acute pain in the shoulder even with proper form is about 95 lbs.
I've since started doing close grip BP instead which doesn't seem to hurt the shoulder nearly as much.

Overhead press is out of the question, as I can't risk my arm dislocating at the top of a lift with a loaded bar behind my neck, and it causes a lot of acute pain.
I replaced this one with a Landmine press, which I've reached about 55kg on.

I know I'm basically butchering 3 of the most venerable lifts here (hey at least I'm not using machines), and my aim is to eventually be able to do them properly, how much gains do you think I'm missing out on this way and are there any assistance lifts I can do to make up for it ?

Squats are like you said, can't hold a bar in back squat..ton of hack squats amd leg press....bp I do dumbbells on a Swiss ball, up to 90lb db for 10 reps!!! Incline the same dbs!!!! Most of my exercises have to be done with db but I am getting great gains in size and strength....there are a ton of exercises you can do for your shoulder to regain strength and mobility.....best of luck!!!

And 230g protein.

I have rarely ever trained abs but I have a strong core. I ran smolov for squat so bracing and and thickness is perfectly fine.

If I cut sufficiently would I have decent and or would I have to start doing a lot more an work and isometrics?

Hate the feeling of working and and I mean they are strong. Just don't know if ill have a weird look to them.

Some fat powerlifter/strongman, I think he won some North American strongman event once actually, so he's pretty strong to say the least. I recently found out he messages random girls t the gym, patrons and employees alike, girls with boyfriends, young girls, everyone he can find, and has a reputation as a major creep because of it. AFAIK he never had any success yet.

If I were him I'd go on a cut and actually try to get to know some people before trying to fuck them.

I give /fit/ people a bad name.

I'm the only muscular and lean person in my entire extended family.

But I'm also the only NEET.

Now my entire family associates people who lift and manage diet to be muscular and lean as being NEETs with no responsibilities in life and all the time in the world to stay /fit/.

I can't argue with them because at least in my case it's true, I can't imagine staying as /fit/ as I do while having a full time job and other normal responsibilities like a family.

So for this reason I am sorry for giving you guys a bad name.

Alright guys, poorfag, turbo lanklet (6' 170lbs) here trying to get /fit/. I did some research and I'm trying to put together a body weight and dumbbell routine I can do at home (I'd buy more dumbbells but I'm trying to spend what money I have on the diet side). I've got my Chest/Triceps/Biceps/Forearms routine planned out but I wanted to see if you guys had any advice, all I have is a 15lb dumbbell and a 30 lb dumbbell, I'm saving up to buy a 40 lb one.

5'10 manlet here, ~64kg (140lbs). Started lifting a few month ago, got a bad case of wry neck after sleeping crooked and was scared to lift again, got back into it a couple weeks ago. Most of my gainz were lost when I stopped, though my strength seemed to remain, muscles plumped back up again pretty quick. According to my scales I'm roughly 14.5% body fat, this doesn't seem to change. My weight also doesn't increase. I gained about 3kgs in the first month of lifting and basically stayed there, though my strength went up and my muscles *looked* a lot more pumped. What the actual fuck is going on? My goal weight is about 75kg or 165lbs. I have concentrated mainly on upper body for the time being, as I use my legs a lot in my sport (also don't have motivation for that yet), specializing in heavy dips. I suppose I could eat more, but I feel this will just add fat. Ideas/thoughts/opinions fitbros?

To gain weight you´ll have to get plenty sleep and eat plenty of food.
Also try not to overtrain as you will only achieve definition but not mass

Whenever a bench with my m8 (he is a fucking animal btw) and he spots me, he starts teabagging me on the last few reps. It gives me a fucking adrenaline and testosteron boost like nothing else, leading to being able to do more reps than without his stinky balls in my face.
