we just need to be consistent.

Changing my mindset to follow this is exactly why I got some good gains. you would often find me working out at 1 am in the morning because of my job (phd student). There are no excuses, you either go late, or wake up earlier in the morning. You just need to always go.

Kindhearted motivation? Dude has just been feeling alright because body gains = emotional and psychological gains and since like most of us he probably started browsing this board when he started lifting, we helped him stay motivated enough through /fit/ memes and good-humored comments so he's trying to give something back. What the fuck is with my lifts?

DB Bench: 85 x 3, or 170
DB Incline: same as flat...
Dip: 255 x 3 at 170 bodyweight

Front squat: 225, barely, form falls to shit
Dead: 405, comfortably, could do more.

How are lifts using similar muscle groups so far apart? Yes I dip and dead more, but not that much more often.

Your form is probably way off. Your db presses should be done with a hammer grip.

Hi /fit/. I was crossing the street and got hit by car yesterday. I saw them coming but I was already in the middle of the street and figured they'd at least slow down so I just kept walking. They weren't paying attention though so my head ended up smashing in their windshield. A little bit scuffed up and my hat protected by scalp from glass shards, so IM GUNNA BE OK

tfw when the ER nurse said I was built and my neck muscles helped stabilize my head and prevented head injury.

TRAIN YOUR NECK /FIT/. Not only is it functional but you instantly looked more jacked if you have a bigger neck.

They were out 20 feet. It was not the most unreasonable expectation to have. It was also in a parking lot, not a major street or anything. I do admit I was a little stubborn in continuing to walk but they literally were not paying attention at all. I could've avoided it for sure and that's why I'm not pressing charges or anything. No complaining, just happy my head is in good shape lol. Train your neck bois!

I am a skinny 18yo who is 6'1 and weigh 140 pounds. I have been lifting for quite a while and can't do proper reps because of joint problems.

My muscles and shit are perfectly fine, it's just that my elbows and shoulders e.g. start hurting really bad from weights and my joints give up before I can stress my body.

I have a professional who watches my form so I know that isn't the problem here.

The only way I find to control myself is to take note of everything on paper. I stopped doing that because my gf said I had an eating disorder so I stopped and look what happened I binged on 2000 calories of cereal.
I'm going back to writing everything down so I'll still be below maintenance but just want to undo the damage with a fast. It'll work in theory, right?

I'm going drinking tonight. Now I know that excessive amount will lover my test by about 30-40% for 24 hours. The question is if I still eat between drinks will I keep my gains?

Are ab rollers a good way to shred one's abs? Mine are already in pretty good shape, but I'm looking for a way to improve them further without a bench and with tools taking as little space as possible.

Yeah they're pretty good. I use mine every other day because my core was lagging a lot. Seems to help, make sure you keep your core tight while you do it though so you don't put excess strain on your lower back.
