Buy moisturizer and lip balm now, you might need vaseline for your nose. Drink a LOT of water.

according to this, fat burn is highest at moderate activity

at more rigorous activity, you're burning carbs, not stored fat

so to lose fat, you should just go for a 3 hour brisk walk every day

To lose fat, you should be in a calorie deficit.
>>
>>42650682
Yes we know. But training is also a factor, and some training (anaerobic) is more efficient for using fat rather than energy from recently eaten food.
>>
True dat. Lost most weight walking like 6 hours a day.

Trained hard now, eating at a deficit, but I didn't lose weight at first. After my numbers went up I started to lose weight, I reckon if you lift twice the weight, you burn twice the calories while lifting.

As a newb please listen here: If you are a bit fat and want to lose weight: Start by eating less, and more protein, don't lift. Take walks, hard walks up stairs. Get leaner.
Then start lifting and eat maintenance and get your numbers up, after 6 months your lifts will be good. Then start cutting.

Never start a cut while starting out lifting. Wait till you got atleast a 2pl8 squat.

Hey fags

I've been storing my fish oil capsules in a fridge/freezer since I read it keeps it good longer, and so far that's worked pretty well - but what about Vitamin D softgels? There's plenty on Google about storing fish oil, but almost nothing about VitD

Is it a good idea to freeze it as well - or at least refrigerate it? I've read that Vit D is most effective when taken with fatty foods, so I figured freezing it might be counterproductive, as the fatty food and Vit D would not get into your system at the same time, so to speak, if the Vit D has to thaw in your stomach first

Pic related, it's Vitamin D softgels

post more info on this, I've never stored my capsules in the fridge
>>
>>42651109
Keeps it from going rancid. Freezing it additionally prevents fish oil breath/burps

Just google it
>>
>>42650584
Good move on the fish oil. One time I had capsules that spoiled and it was disgusting. Like food poisoning but worse. Not sure if vitamin d will spoil or rot though. Don't see why it would if its just a vitamin unless their suspended in some type of oil or water base.

Chances are you really don't need to study literally all day. Do 2.5 intense hours in the morning and 2.5 intense hours in the evening, there's time for the gym then. I find the prospect of studying all day to be awful and if I set myself that goal I'll never settle with the work and will constantly stop and start and shit. 5 hours broken down like that is easy to tackle and leaves you sufficiently mentally refreshed to do other shit, which is great for long term study.

Will working out legs actually help me get this lean or should I just do chest/back/arms twice a week and some cardio? (And diet of course)

look at cyclists and runners.. they are pretty lean right.
Your legs are some of the biggest muscles in your your body, which means that by working them you burn more calories... but simply doing squats wont make much of an impact.

Just read this, what do you think about it? My joints do hurt actually and protein powder sure is some shit in it.. dunno what to think also the rest somewhat seems to fit

Bodybuilding, lifting weights and modern "fitness culture" is the dumbest shit ever invented and you got Jewed if you fell for it

> Lifting weights will wreck your joints, especially with many reps/sets and isolations
> Protein powder literally does nothing. More protein doesn't equal more muscle. You can build muscle with 20-40g protein a day. You simply got Jewed if you believe otherwise.
> Protein """powder""" contains filler bullshit like dextrose. A whole generation of men are chugging this crap instead of eating real food. Probably has xenoestrogens in it
> If you want to survive an apocalypse scenario you need a house, a family, guns, money, water etc. Muscles are completely worthless, all you need is to be able to run for 5 mins.
> Culture inspires this retarded insecurity where you think you are never big/lean enough (bigorexia). You can't go to a party because you aren't 8 percent body fat yet, can't drink alcohol socially etc
> If you try lifting more than a 80kg bench/100kg squat/130kg deadlift you are going to fuck your body up. There is literally no reason to be stronger than that. There is literally no benefit at all except to impress men on the internet.
> The most muscle you can build is 5-8kg. All the fitness youtubers use steroids and trick 13 year olds into thinking they are natural. Literal retards who are older than 18 on /fit/ still think they are natural

tfw with bench alone a can do 140kg (3 plate) and have 0 problems

You know OP world record for bench is something like 334kg right?

80kg/100kg/130kg is fuck all.

Willpower is the most important muscle in the human body. Your willpower muscle currently looks like a grape, but if you actually use it it will someday swell to a mighty watermelon.

Do you consume fermented foods?

I found that sauerkraut improved my mood
>>
>>42650235
Are you sure they are probiotic and not sterilized?
Like the other anon said sauerkraut/kimchi is GOAT but most in store stuff is not probiotic, you usually have to look for a label saying it is, at least in America.

Fermented soy is great too, removes some sugars and the phytoestrogens.
The latter claim isn't that backed up by science but a mechanism is thought to exist and people who are really sensitive to soy (like women who stop having their periods if they eat a piece of tofu) never have issues with fermented soy, so it's most likely legit.
Tempeh is more palatable but natto has nattokinase, an enzyme that breaks down the calcium in your veins reducing the chance of clots.

Tried fermented oats the other day, put a cup of oats with water in a mason jar and let is sit for 2 days while occasionally shaking.
Was sour af.

Just tidy up after yourself, wipe down anything you sweat on and you should be fine
>>

Just follow your routine, don't try to lift heavy to begin with, just get used to doing the exercises with proper form. Don't forget to tip the receptionist. Don't worry, most people don't care about you so don't worry about embarrassing yourself.

????????? I'm lost for words
read the sticky

how old are you?
>>
>>42650073
Depends on your routine e.g if SS if you finished all your reps in the three sets then you go up. If bodybuilding you might need to find a rep range e.g I know a friend who only moves up after he can do the weight for 3x12

If you read the book like you should have it lists many different combinations for layouts and accessories
>>
>>42650153
The book just says "Lat Work" and "Abs".

Later on the author lists some exercises but does not specify any specific sets/reps scheme.
