Daily reminder that you don't have to squat because of the wide availability of the leg press.

But if you don't deadlift you're missing out on training all of these muscles that cannot be trained any other way using significant loads as there is no machine or alternative exercise to deadlifts that trains these muscles with a heavier enough load to stimulate muscular development.

I have a herniated L4 and necrotizing tendonitis, so a lot of lifts are out of the question for me. I absolutely cannot do squats or deadlifts, and running is out as well (high risk of spontaneous tendon rupture).

What can I do to make my ass bigger? It's all I need to work on in terms of aesthetics. Been swimming for cardio as it's easier on me, but since I got injured last year my ass gains have decline rapidly.

Send help.

So I'm fat. Like 140 kg fat. Mostly Belly fat. If i try conventinal Training like running my knees will explode to the orbit. My large hearth nearly explodes after 30 min on the cross trainer. Pulse nearly of the charts can't be healthy. Actually im eating pretty healthy no carbs in the eaving im cooking all the shit myself much vegetables and white meat. every to weekends or so I got myself a pizza.
I work fulltime at a officejob and ofcourse beeing a lazy computer slob doenst help earther.

So /fit/ what the fuck do I do without fucking up whats still not damaged in my body (knees still okay, no diabetes, )

This, plus walking. 185cm, 115 kg here. Got up to 120 after a really bad relationship and breakup, and I'm cutting now. Thing is, I'm too fat for my usual cardio options, so I'm walking every chance I get. Hours of low impact exercise a week. Don't need rest days really.

I've recently started fasting. Nothing but water until about 2pm. From 2 to about 6pm I eat one or maybe two meals, maybe. Then fast again from about 6pm until 2pm the next day. Im a big fat sumbitch 6'3" 250+lbs prolly 260. I want to eventually get down to 220lbs. Obviously it aint overnight. But I been doing IF for about a week and a half and it seems to be legit. Any tips for a fat nigga doing IF? Thanks

If you want to sustain your weight loss you need to be eating at least 1200 calories in your feeding window to maintain basic metabolic functions. More if you're lifting.

So, /fit/, I've got a dilemma. I love exercising and weight lifting, but not for the strength aspect. I work out for the endorphin release, and I could care less about the rest. The problem I'm reaching is that I'm not that tall, just 5'8", and if I get any stronger I'm going to look like I'm trying to compensate for being short. Anyone else in my boat? I want to be able to keep lifting without gaining any more mass from it. How can I kill my gains?

Today was a real introduction to gym after three years.

I tried using the same weight I used in highschool but they were too heavy so I had to go back to basics

Today was all arms, so I did:
Incline bench press : 25 reps at 75 pounds

Bench press: 3x10 sets at 75 pounds

One arm Dumbell raise. I did 3x10 at 20 pounds both arms. I held the weight up for 8 seconds between each rep.


Alternate front raise 3x10 at 15 pounds (Everything else was too heavy).
For me to count it as a single rep I had to do a raise on one arm then the other. Then both at the same time.

I did curls with those squiggly curling bars.
(I don't know how much they weigh) but I had 25 pounds altogether. Really close grip.

Total time spent at the gym 2:16 minutes.

hey fit, last year I weighted 116 kilograms my hight is 1.78 meters, now I am on 98 kilos what fit helped me with was realizing how crazy fat mentality is and to avoid the excuses, so please share pictures like that, it helps to keep going, thanks >)

What god would design a body that feels so good to lift with, but then require you occasionally sit on your ass doing nothing.

And yes you have to, I don't think anyone can lift 7 days a week if they aren't on gear.
