How do I get into Olympic lifts /fit/? Today I was playing around with the idea. So I would clean, then front squat, then press with a bit of momentum. Is there a guide online? I've watched some videos, but I feel like the lifts are so specific I'm going to snap my shit if I do it wrong. Any suggestions?


It was so fucking cool to pick something up from the ground and press it over my head. I felt strong. No one else at the gym knows anything about Olympic lifting, I've never seen anyone clean, and people rarely deadlift. Some dyel actually shouted "nice one dude!" When I did it.

Hello /fit/izens

What is your biggest gainz goblin and how to overcome it? Mine for sure is binge drinking on the weekends. I'm very strict with my diet and regimen during the week. However, when Friday about 8 o'clock rolls around it's nearly impossible for me to overcome the urge to get blacked out drunk especially when my friends are hitting me up to go out. When I do I obviously I have a raging hangover the next day and don't go the gym or do much of anything. How does everyone else deal with self control issue like this?

Cool fucking story bro. Lift weights. eat calorie dense, nutritious foods. get 8 hours of sleep. push yourself to the gym. constantly do mobility drills and stretches and stay hydrated. forgo drinking, happy hours and fuck sessions with sloots to work on my squat depth and accessory work.

And all I have to show for it is this 7/10 physique and "ok kind of strong" numbers. It's been months and I still haven't busted past my 500 deadlift 1RM and that's not even impressive.

Natty lifting is bullshit and a stupid meme that nobody should fall for. If i was on test this whole time I'd be aesthetic as fuck and sexing crossfit braphogs between bench press sets. Fuck /fit/

Redpill me on PPL /fit/. I did Stronglifts for about a month while taking summer class and now that it's over, I switched to PPL and have been doing it for a week.

I like PPL more but I don't know if I made the right decision since everyone is telling me to go back to SL or do Starting Strength for aesthetics

PPL a shit, stronglifts a shit, actually reading starting strength is the best thing you can do as far as making gains as a beginner. You won't get to 1/2/3/4 in 6 months with PPL, but you can do it in 4 with SS.
