Make sure you implement some serious HIIT into your workouts and you'll somewhat (emphasis on 'somewhat') minimize the damage you're doing to your cardiovascular system. Anyone else fuck up their shoulders? Pretty sure i tore my rotator cuff I was holding onto a tree above my head and slipped on wet clay so my body weight must've torn it. If I were to try to lift it, straight out being 90degrees, I can maybe make it to 20. I looked it up and recovery is like 6 months but fuck that, anybody have some tips/exercises? So far just massaging it and then letting it dangle and swing it around back and forth and little circles. For example getting a jug of water out of the fridge is a nono.

Hey /fit/ I need some advice.
I'm tall at skinny enough for people to always say >"you need to put on some weight / muscle anon you'll be way better looking!"
But I have enough fat under my shirt to look gross without it. I also have semi bad gyno so getting fatter would be really bad.
Should I still do a strength program like SS or SL? If so how do I go about progressing in lifts without eating at a surplus?
I was thinking about just doing pushups, chinups, and crunches everyday while cutting.
Any tips would be great, I don't know what to do and want to get started properly.
You need to read the sticky. Not memeing, but you are about to hurt yourself and do pointless exercises.

Don't do crunches, do planks.
One rest day between workouts is needed.
Get to a point with chinups to do pullups instead.

Cutting is top priority but you can still lift and supplement with body weight exercises. Go heavy on chest shit like dips, pull-ups, push ups. Also don't sleep on cardio to burn off the fat. Lose the fat first. I was pretty bad skinny fat and it took a lot of time to drop the last 5kg so don't get discouraged when you look the same after the first month
