I took a break from lifting because my wrists couldn't keep up. They're almost healed up and I'm afraid it will happen again. Are wrist wraps or straps worth it? Or are they a crutch that will make my wrists weak while I make gains? Anyone lift with them?

I bought a pair years ago when I started going to lift, pure meme if you ask me. Might be useful for powerlifters, really heavy stuff though, but that's not my thing.

So, I've been hitting the gym for almost 2 years now.
When i started i was at 45kg, and 2 years after, i'm at 61kg (12/14%bf and i'm a manlet so that's kinda average/above averaga weight for my height).
I never did steroids ( only drink one whey protein shake after workout and eat chicken breast like there's no tomorrow ), but still, my normie friends all say that I only got "big" so quickly because " i did steroids ".
How do i even react to this?
They're so close minded and some of them actually have friends who actually did hormonal treatments for the "gainz".
Should i take it as compliment?

Nah ur a gril but understandable that you write that since you don't want to be bothered by thirsty virgins. They are just not used to seeing a girl being as buff as you are. My cousin who was around 1,70m was a bit less than 50kg and she looked like she was anorexic. I'm sure people were just surprised because this is such a huge chance, but it's totally understandable in two years. Just don't let them get you down, see it as a compliment and a way of them saying that you surpassed their expectations and did better than they would have done themselves.

Hey /fit/, can anybody tell me how much this weighs? It's like an interstitial plate you put onto the weight machines if the gaps between the weights are too drastic for you. It feels like it weights about 4 pounds but I'm autistic and want to know more accurately.

/fit/, you brought me out of the hole I made for myself in the ground. Through dieting and lifting, I feel better than I have in my life. But i still feel pretty shitty

I am addicted to degenerate, humiliating, submissive porn. The first thing I ever fapped to was femdom, since then i've checked off cuckolding, sissy shit, chastity, you name it.

I feel this is the last barrier to me being happy. My sexual tastes permeate into every other aspect of my life. I am lazy, I have no spine, i hardly commit to anything, and when i do i usually give up. I avoid conflict, i feel sorry for myself alot.

I was planning on starting out with SS but my gym is filled with Technogym machines - there's a couple of big ones, one of which is a squat rack but the bar is built into it. There's some barbells but no bench for it.

What's an alternative program which makes use of these fixed machines instead? There's a big cable type machine where the origin of the cables and the handles attached to the end of the cables can be swapped out, and some other similar machine.

I'm a newly skinny beginnerfag looking to put on muscle.

1/2/3/4 is probably a fine strength goal for one year if you don't want to look aesthetic. It doesn't really make sense as a goal for a smaller, leaner person who primarily wants to look better.

For instance, I am a 140lb manlet who has been lifting for 7+ months now and I am only on track to hit 1pl8 OHP by the end of the year (currently 115lb x 4 reps). Squats and deads aren't even fucking close to 3/4.

Get Matthew Vincent's book on explosive strength OR find a shotput lifting program.

Most important thing to learn about training for explosiveness is that you don't want to train poor movement patterns. Better to do 10 sets of two depth jumps than do 10 reps of depth jumps.

If you don't have an oly lifting coach, I'd recommend (1) get one OR (2) sub snatch and clean and jerk with clean high pulls and push press. Snatch in particular is way too technical for uncoached people to do at the weight you need to do it.
