I have been doing bro splits for 8 months i added noticable amount of mass but my lifts suck. SS is a beginner program but im not a beginner anymore so will i make better strength gains? Are there any other programs where i could make noticable strength gains even if not beginner?

Switch to any real program, doesn't have to be ss. Sl, greyskull, ppl, then stick with it until you completely stop making gains.

Have any of you found some sort of happiness through fitness? I am a healthy weight dude, 21, who is desperate to find some semblance of happiness in his life.

Recently I starting taking supplements hoping they could help me be happy but I have had to start cutting back... I do light exercise everyday and want to know if heavy exercise, lifting and cardio, could help me be happy...

So, have any of you found more confidence and expanded your social circles as a result of getting fit?

Got more confident, expanded social circles, started doing better in school, and started being happier. All after I started lifting, maybe it wasn't so much the lofting as it was the discipline and confidence it instills, but it works for me either way.

Well I am a 27 yr old 6'0 210 lb dude who has no interest in being a twig nor being a tank, Just build upon my current foundation and it is progeessingly pretty good honestly.

I do weight lifting 6 times a week with moderate cardio 3 days a week after my weight training.

I enjoy the burn. I enjoy the feeling of working my ass off. I found that it relieves tension and stress. Let it all out.

If you're going to do cardio, do it after weight training every couple days. I recommend it personally.

I'm getting to be an oldfag. I'm 37. But I still lift. I have no home life, I have few friends, I have a demanding job that Takes up the majority of my time. Shit sucks.

Lifting is my outlet. My back relaxes, my neck isn't stiff. Soreness is a substitute for being stiff and uncomfortable. It lowers my stress level, it makes the rest of my shitty life much more manageable. I don't lift for the mires or stacies or anything else. I get to lift for me. Every time I get an extra 5lbs up it makes every lift before it seem so easy. I remember back to when I first started lifting and how difficult even low weights were. My 1rm's are now my warmups.

Is it dumb to give up on trying to get with girls, making friends or even have a relationship at age 30?

I thank you guys for getting me far in lifting. I'm not the biggest guy in the gym but I'm in a hell of a lot better position than I was 2 years ago.

But socially I suck. My dad used to verbally abuse every mistake I made by calling me a mistake, useless, repeatedly asking God why he gave him a son like me, worse things I don't want to mention, etc. I think that has had an effect on my confidence on asking girls out, but I don't want to blame anyone else for my failures. I'm lost.
