Had the same problem, went away after i started doing more forearm exercises. It started being worse as i put on extra stress for a while, then it went away.

Keep in mind this was a sharp and instantaneous pain that went away after a minute or two. Just take it slow if you wanna try my method

If you spend hours on a computer without proper wrist support you will develop some kind of pain.
If its more localized to the anterior portion of your forearms stretch out the posterior. Or vice versa. Also buy a fucking mouse pad with wrist support.

Also when it comes to hockey you probably might be developing "golfers" elbow.

Too much anterior forearm activation will cause an imbalance if you don't backhand enough.

I felt weak thinking that I was starting to hit my limits.

I took a gander across the sardine can and noticed that everyone else in the room had headphones on.
One was rockin' out to some kind of jams that I presume was Elton John.
Watching Netflix on the office's open WiFi was the blonde.
The others I couldn't discern what distractions kept them drawn.

Alternatively, while listening to their music or shows, the TV had on the local weather.
Which is great.

Nothing wrong with staying preoccupied
while the treadmill steadily adds minutes to keep their running qualified.

But in my down time I saw the headphones as criminals to their work outs.
There was no focus on climbing that elliptical with their doubts.
No intent on finishing that last mile before they dismount.
No pressure as to get one more rep in before the song ran out.

It was baffling to me, that in this short period of time, I realized that no one wanted to be in that room.
I'm far from a paragon of the gym - I put off going to that tomb,
I stall before putting my gym shoes on and assume,
the struggle to get out the door and meet my doom.

But once I sit on that bench, the calluses break.
I'll reiterate, I'm far from a perfect example,
but I'd like to believe that I am ample and can focus on my task as hand
to ensure a 50 pound dumbbell doesn't crash on my chest as it lands.

It's evident, at least to me, now more than ever, that once you arrive at the gym you don't need those headphones.

You don't need that distraction.
You don't need the TV, Netflix, or some other abstraction.
You only need one motivation,
one bit of information for your concentration with no room for interpretation.
Only one way to ease your frustrations
and keep your imagination set on determination.

To all of this there's only one way to respond.
All you need is to Go Beyond.
