If you're done with your first LP then it's time to cut back on lower body work and increase your volume and accessories on upper body.
Squatting heavy is not going to grow your upper body, that is a marketing myth for fags who love to sell squat centric routines.

It's the only place I go outside of work and while I have pretty good social skills, somehow inside the gym I never know how to pick up on the qts

Hey guys. I'm a relatively new lurker, this is my first post. I'm fat and very unfit though for the past year I've been eating properly and lost a good bit of weight.
Anyway, I saw an advertisement for an 8 week Brazilian jiu jitsu course and signed up. It starts in 2 and a half weeks. How fucked am I? I literally can't do 10 pushup but I want to get fit and learn to defend myself. What should I expect on my first class? Crazy warm ups? How can i get slightly fitter between now and the first class in 2.5 weeks? I have really low self esteem and I am very shy. I will literally work out every night if u can give me the best exercises. The only things I have are dumbells and a barbell. I'd really appreciate you guys help and advice.
BJJ is good shit, you'll work up a good sweat. Every school is going to be different with how they train but from what i've seen there all supportive of there students and Bjj has a incredible douche bag filler. for losing weight cyclically. lots of girls do bjj to cause muh self defense, sleeping with them is never really that hard there

I practice MMA for 7 years now, boxing in parallel for 6 years, I could.
Not to count strength training at the gym for 4 years, 6 ft 1 1/2 for 189 lbs. I have an insane speed, reflexes similar to my speed. I just have to wait for him to charge me, dodge his attacks, and throw good punches to his head. I won't stop, and at the smallest mistake he does, the crocodile is finished. You'll always have virgins from here thinking that it's impossible. First, nothing is impossible with will, my friends, and 2) that's not with your weak ass bodies that you'll do anything. Any man with a minimum of training can beat a crocodile with a knife anyway. With bare hands, that is not necessarily more complicated, it just requires technical skills.

Started about a month ago and have been using a routine I got from some youtube guy, along with some modifications.

A: Squats 3x5, Bench 3x5, some random isolation
B: Squats 3x5, OHP 3x5, Deadlift 3x5, random isolation
I fucking suck ass at OHP though idk if it's form or weakness or what but I'm doing standing dumbbell press instead and am progressing, so the plan is to do that until I can move back to barbell
I've also recently started adding neck curls at the end, trying to hit 3x100 and will start adding weight once I can. Right now I'm at 3x50
So my question is how do I get to my goal weight in lifts? The idea is to hit 1pl8 OHP, 2pl8 Bench, 3pl8 squat, and 4 pl8 deadlift. Right now I can't do shit ohp, I can do 1pl8 bench, 2pl8 squat, and 2pl8 deadlift. I feel like my deadlift should be higher than squat, so what am I doing wrong? Any and all help is appreciated bois

Just do chest, back, shoulders, legs, rest rest.
Bench on chest day, deadlift back day, OHP shoulder day, squat leg day.
Then do isolation work for those muscles and throw in arms where you can. That will build a good physique and strength
