ITT: Discuss beans. Why don't you eat beans? Look at these macros:

>100g 320 kcal
>1,5g fat
>45g carbs
>16g fiber
>22g protein

Beans are cheap and have insane macros. What's your favorite recipe with beans? Which type of beans are the best?

Not a liftbro or poorfag, just enjoy boxing, running and push ups. Beans are the shit, I pretty much live off beans, potatoes and venison.

What type of lifting produces the biggest mass gains?

Eg, heavy weight low reps produces strength, HIIT produces most hormones, etc.

Total training volume.

Pounds/Kgs lifted.

Aslong as you are between 5-20 reps. Eg, on the 5th rep you can possible do 1 more or not even that or if you go 20 reps on the 19-20 rep you could possible do 1-2 more but no way more than that before failing.

There you go.

Any /aus/ lads (who will be familiar with alcohol sales) know of a decent beer to drink on a regular basis that will do the least amount of slaughter to my gains?

Don't want to quit beer, I know it's bad for me, I accept the consequences. I live in a house with good mates and there's beers going every afternoon.

What do you guys drink? I've been on the pure blondes cause they're marketed as being lite or whatever but I haven't done any research.

Pic related grew on me or Heineken if I need to buy. I brew my own lager though. If I'm drinking with the missus, it's cheap champagne from Aldi.

Just keep drinking if your having fun, mate is the best advice I can give. Go do kickboxing or something to work it off. Just don't get hooked on the shit though. I used to be in a similar position to you and wouldn't have done anything different.

Get kirin mate. Is jap beer that tastes nice and is like 0 carb 0 fat 0 sugar.

Is it a bad idea to stretch my calves for the majority of the day?
Some background:
I was born with a short achilles tendon. Short to the point that I walked around on my toes all the time.
Due to embarrassment from this, over the years I've slowly begun to stretch these out, even if it was extremely difficult. I'd take great pains to make sure that I was fully stretching the tendon (as far as I could) when I walked.

The thing is that now, I seem to have hit the limit of how much just ensuring that my heels fully hit the floor can affect my walking and mobility. Due to the many years of walking on my toes and the "pop" in my step (bouncing up strangely high when I get to the toe part of a step), my calves are insanely overdeveloped and I still walk sort of strangely.

I've begun working at a standing desk and spending the majority of the day standing like this (although my heel doesn't touch the ground). Is this a good, or a bad idea? Is there any chance that by stretching, my calves will look less strangely bulbous? Is stretching for this length of time counterproductive?

Just practice walking with a full heel-toe stride. Stretching your calves all day every day can be a bad idea though. The stretching won't necessarily decrease the size of the muscle either. If you really want to do that, just don't work your calves and work on changing the way you stride. Your calves will atrophy a little bit and then you can just maintain them.

As for mobility, stretch and smash your calves at most twice weekly, preferably spacing the days out as much as possible. For completeness' sake, you may as well work on your entire leg.

You can lose weight eating fast food, just eat less of it.

Look into the documentary Fathead

You can lose weight trying to eat sunlight too. These must therefore both be legit healthy diets then I guess.

But it IS unhealthy when people make it their entire life's purpose.

If its just to complement their lifestyle then yeah they can fuck off.
But if you make your primary purpose to keep a perfect diet and perfect gym gains, then its unhealthy.

Will this chest work out yield good results for building mass. I'm trying to replace flat bench with incline and decline as I've heard it gives better results, so I'm doing an upper chest day and a lower chest day instead of just two chest days a week.

Any advice or pointers would be appreciated.
