Just left the gym in a fit of rage after doing 3 sets pf overhead press because I'm making ZERO progress. I can barely squeeze out 1pl8 for a rep and it's been like this for a YEAR. I don't know why I care so much about this fucking lift. I never feel more manly then when I hit a ohp PR and I never feel more weak when I hit a plateau. Pissed me off today so I said "Fuck it". Re-racked my weights and just left. It completely ruined my motivation to finish my workout.

Breaks where you rest completely are cancer but HIIT kind of resting is pretty good. Going from sprinting to jogging in intervals or going from jogging to walking when you're still a beginner, is a great to improve quickly.

Friends with girl
Overal good natured guy, hard to piss off, even harder to get to confront when pissed of, usually I manage to brush it of and continue being my jovial self.
Have great times with this girl.
She does sort of take up a lot of my time, and I have sacrificed gym days and other shit, but she is always a blast to be around so I don't mind.
She invites me to a friends house.
Get their, another guy is there.
Ok, whatever, the more the merrier.
It gets late, plan initially was for me to crash in spare room, the two girl in the main.
Now the plan apparently is the guy and the girl I know get the main room, the other girl the spare, and I get to figure it the fuck out on my own.
Despite this manage to not lose my temper and create a scene, leave instead and go home despite it being 4 fucking AM in the middle of fucking nowhere.
Following morning get text from girl "was a great evening wasn't it anon!"
I simply snap and unload.
In the 5 months I have known her she hasn't ever seen me annoyed, let alone angry, let alone angry at her.

I didn't even realize how much a strain she was untill I got her out of my life. I lifted better today, first time since I snapped, than I ever have.

Sorry for the blogpost, but I just felt like celebrating getting rid of a deadweight and getting my lifts back on track.

Hi im 30, i went to gym from 17 to 24,

Every time I do a few sets of pic related, I feel it working my abs. I'm inly moving my head and trying to isolate my neck as much as possible but there's still a stretching sensation in my core.
The next day and my core is so sore that I can't do any exercises that involve the core.

Why is this? Is this normal? If not, how to prevent this from happening?

So, /fit/izens, lets get to it
My workout consists of:

>Leg Extension 5x5
>Bench Press 5x5
>Bicep Curl 5x5
>Lat Pulldown 5x5
>Incline BP 5x5
>Chest Dip 5x5
>Hanging Leg Raises 5x5

and I do Decline instead of Incline every second workout.

I'm pretty aware it's shit, so I want to change it. The catch is - my doctor told me that Squats, OHP, Barbell Row, Deadlift, pretty much everything that puts weight on the spine is off-limits for me. What do I do, /fit/? Will you help me make it?

For one you have nearly zero shoulder work. Do seated dumbell OHP. Also ditch the leg curls and do leg press instead

I speak really well.

All my life, I have spoken fast and clearly.

These last couple of months, I acquired difficulties forming words that were once a breeze to say.

Had an MRI scan, results showed NOTHING out of the ordinary.

Just a few white matter hyperintensities here and there.

The results clearly showed that my brain is totally fine but for some reason, I'm still stuttering, slurring, and completely butchering my speech during conversations.

What on earth is goin' on?
