i'm the anon who posted previously about lower back pain while running the day after squats

>third time this has happened in a week
>i like to run this little circuit for extra credit a few days a week
>run 3km to this constuction site near my place, do a bunch of pullups, run 3km home
>its comfy, good lil pump
>on the way there, 3 times in a row, lower back pain starts to flare up
>it gets worse and worse until im moving legs only by mental fortitude

>run home - my back is now 100% absolutely better and fine, even sprint the last 200m

I think you go to low during squats? I had this problem where my lumbar would wink in at the bottom. Look up squat wink and see if you can recognize it. Everyone's not made to squat to the grass.

Thinking of becoming a PT as nothing else interests me as much as lifting/fitness, . I've been looking at different careers and keep coming back to this. I worked in an office for some time after finishing school and it made me depressed being on my ass all day, office culture, etc. All I could think about was when I'd next get to lift.

Only thing is I have bad anxiety (kill me) and am really introverted. I'm also a young, tiny grill who hates social media so how would I even get clients?

Tips from current PTs? What's the pay like and is it worth it? What board should I go through (britbong here).

Questio about Zinc bros, it says here on the bottle that it is Chelated Zinc (Gluconate) and that it is 50mg, I know that gluconate has smaller elemental zinc so I assume I can take 3-4 of this shit, nothing is said about e-zinc anywhere in the bottle so I took 3, then started puking 20 mins after.

So, recently after reading a few guides, the most useful of which was the stickied one from our very own /fit/, I had the motivation to lose weight and finally an actual, clear-cut explanation of what I need to know.

I immediately started amping up my walking track to a jogging track, soon to make it a running track, and I'm getting weights very soon.

Diet wise, I'm hitting or coming very close to the 1g protein / lb of body weight rule of thumb, as well as hitting <1600 calories a day (700 calories or more lower than what most calculations told me my body needs to sustain it's current weight). Baked chicken breast, hard-boiled eggs and whole-grain bread have been god tier, so far.

Overall, I feel really proud of myself for remaining determined and not cheating once, my gf and family is worried that I'm obsessive but also proud that I'm sticking to it, and I just generally look and feel better.

One problem arises though.

I want to chew threw the fucking walls in hopes of finding something even vaguely high-sugar tasting. I'm stubborn as fuck and haven't let myself slip up, but god fucking damnit I feel an intense, intense need to eat something very sweet. Is this just a relic of my old shitty diet, is there some step that I'm missing that'll satisfy the cravings, or am I just a massive faggot that hasn't learnt to cope yet?

Any advice is much appreciated.

Yeah it's really 1x5, 1x3 on Fridays. But the middle sets aren't just warm-up: they're close enough to 5RM to give you more volume. I really love it: enough volume & intensity to make gains, ramped enough to recover between workouts.

What are the basics of Madcow? Im on SL now and is about to change in about 1 month

Similar exercise selection as SL. Ramped up sets. Weekly progression. On friday you up the weight for a set of 3 and then do a backoff set of 8, and on monday you keep doing sets of 5 with the new weight from friday. This is for the squat, bench and rows. Wednesday you do some "light" squats and then progress on the press and deadlift.

I'm not sure about deloading. I think if you get stuck it's recommended to reset the program by introducing your new lifts on the spreadsheet.

Random clicking with shoulder movements is honestly normal - loads of people get it and unless it's causing pain there's nothing to be worried about. With regards to your soreness, what brings it on? Are there specific upper-limb or shoulder exercises that you do?

Otherwise, if you're interested in rehabbing back to regular health, I'd recommend starting with zero-resistance work like open-hand lateral raises done with slow speed, just to acclimatise yourself to the movement, then scale up with weights.
