This numbers were better but my strength got weaker because of the cut

i injured myself like a retard so i cant lift normally.
i got a cut like pic related, only 10 of them but smaller. anyways how do i go about doing chest and pressing heavy if my base of the palm is slashed and i'd like to avoid getting it infected. doing pulling movements such as pull ups and rows is ez pz and not a problem since i can grip the bar with my fingers but i've got a real problem with the bench and ohp. post experiences if you went through anything similar

Just do light weight for a week, a deload week. Try to go as hard as you can, without feeling serious pain in the palm.

This would be a giant pain in the ass but you could wrap your entire hand around the bar with a ton of tape maybe lol. Or just wait a week or two and it'll be healed enough.

I'm trying to cut for 6 months now but i just keep getting bigger and not losing any fat.
I'm lowering my calories more and more, it's gotten to the point where I'm eating just 1800 calories a day and i just can't get any lower without starving. Not losing anything, just making gains.
6'2, 29 year old, been lifting for about a year, fucked around the gym for about 6 months prior, natty of course.
What is the solution to this? I just want to be aesthetic, i hate being a fat bear because it gets you 0 mires.

start intermittent fasting and up your cardio. i swear i was doing the same as you but i lost ten pounds just eating the cals all at once v throughout the day.

you're not that far away from making it.

I feel like eating a late breakfast 10 am or later ( assuming you woke up and are being active at 7 or so) helps burn the fat stores since assuming you didn't eat just before going to sleep you're not gonna have much in you, kinda like a mini fast every day.

My wife did it a few months ago. Costed a couple thousand dollars, and I don't see a difference AT ALL. She swears it worked...but she still looks the exact same.

I posted about it a few months back on /fit/ and everyone called me an ass for not supporting her even though the only thing I told her was that it'd be a waste of money. Go figure... The day /fit/ turned to Reddit.

Here's the story if it helps any:

>Wife has always been fit, exercises, watches what she eats, etc.
>Got pregnant 2 years ago and had to stop going to the gym because it was high risk, but she still ate semi-decently for the most part
>Our daughter was born over a year ago, and my wife stayed on maternity leave for like 6 months because apparently her job as awesome benefits
>For nearly a year, she stopped going to the gym because she was obsessed with spending every waking hour with our kid, and her eating habits started slipping
>She ended up going from 5'3, 108 to 5'3 135
>About 4 months ago she realized she had gained the weight and I hadn't, so she started getting insecure
>Says she's going to get cool sculpting because the internet says it works
>Tell her it's stupid and she needs to just go back to the gym and start eating better
>Gets cool sculpting done anyway because she's a woman and therefore fuck logic
>Also starts eating right and going to the gym 3 times a week
>She's lost 10 lbs so far, but swears it's because of the cool sculpting

I love her and, but she can definitely be a bit retarded sometimes. She says her clothes are fitting better now, but I honestly don't see a difference in her waist size. I know she really did lose the 10 lbs thus far because I've seen the scale and we go to the gym together sometimes when my mom is able to watch the kid. Still, I'm pretty sure it has more to do with her eating better and actually getting back in the gym as opposed to some magic procedure.

Don't know how to work any of the machines but hoping ill be able to figure out the treadmill.

What do I do with my bag do I bring it in and leave it next to the tread mill. Do I bring in a towel to wipe the handlebars after I've finished on the treadmill?

Will they make me do some sort of induction before they let me use the gym?

Most gyms have lockerrooms, bring a lock with number coding and leave your stuff in there until you are done.

No, that is the cleaning lady job, not yours. Just go there, do what you need to do, dont touch your mouth and eyes after touching the equipment and wash your hands at the bathroom after you are done working out.

What you mean by induction? Most gyms measure your bodyfat and physical performance on your first day of training to determine your exercise routine, is that what you meant?

Of course swimmers lift. They just don't look big bc they're tall lean and long limb-ed af. Once you're past 6'3 you're get either lean OR big, but not both if you're natty.

I don't know what's wrong with my body. I have the sporting capabilities of a young male, but the fragility of an 80 year old. My body just hurts and clicks everywhere, I have

>knee & hip pain and constant clicking
>chest clicks
>extremely weak iliopsoas muscles (the one you feel when you "open the gates" during warm up, if that's what it's called) that any sudden movement can cause a strain
>severe back pain, low bone density
>constant cramping in calves and foot
>and now constant ankle clicks after trying JUST ONE intense session of badminton

Very poor health despite being very athletic. I now struggle with stairs and my GP isn't helping much. I can't even start lifting properly because of the pain (mainly back). I need some life changes that can help stop the pain, please /fit/?

As an anonymous with an internet symptom decoder doctorate, it sounds like you have an autoimmune issue caused by an intolerance or allergies to something you have cronic exposure to. Food is a common culprit.

Has anyone of you had the issue with the heels coming up while squatting? I cant break parallel with my chest up or heels down.

How long did it take you to fix that with the common exercises? Will I ever be able to squat deep like my manlet colleague from work?
