I just spent the better part of an hour trying to figure out if steroids, GH, or anything other drug can actually result in any changes in facial bone structure, but I got no solid answers. There's a lot of anectodal accounts such as "I got a chiseled jaw when I started to juice" which is likely to be due to lower body fat. My rear delts are lagging hard, I started incorporating upright rows on top of the direct rear delt work I was already doing but I only feel a good contraction in (pic related) at the very top of the concentric portion, am I going to get good ROI if I continue doing progressive overload on the upright row? Wow, that's incredibly ineffective use of your time. Look up "active rest". I usually do isolations of some other muscle group in the meantime. If I do heavy squats, I can do preacher curls or something else while resting my legs.
But some studies indicate that doing very light and careful reps of the same, or similar, exercise works better to recover the muscles being worked.

Just remember the golden rule of weight loss: if your calorie intake is more than what you burn, you WILL gain weight. A pound of fat is 3500 calories, make note of that. Another thing to keep in mind are that if you're an autistic spaghetti spiller when you're a skeleton you'll still be one when you're in shape. This is only to improve your health and anything else is another issue.
