Hey /fit/ first time actually exploring this board and wanted to ask if my current routine is working out.

I've been following reddits advice and figure you guys probably have a solid idea of whats actually going on.

I've been doing keto for the past 20 days, alongside with intermittent fasting (I eat once per 24 hours). I've also been running/walking blocks around my neighborhood for an hour every day or other day depending on if I have the time.

I started off at 292, 6'1 and am now at 270. I understand that most of this is likely simply "water weight" as well as completely cutting out fast food/soda.

I was ultimately curious on the effectiveness of intermittent fasting and keto in your guys mind. I was also curious if I should start lifting weights or not, I'm already kind of muscular due to muscle memory under all my fat from working out a lot from 14-18 (20 now, used to do sports).

I don't honestly want to gain super muscle and look ripped or super toned, just moderately normal/above normal. I've been a pretty big guy all my life and want to look a bit more feminine then I have in the past.

Alright, I suppose my current running regimen would fall under HIIT? Or are there any specific plans I should follow?

Also when I'm running I get sharp calf pains after running for a while. My endurance is starting to catch up where I can run for a long period of time but the calf pain restricts me. Any way to get around this?

To cut, if you're a DYEL :

1) Eat properly, stop eating soda and pizzas, eat clean food
2) Workout (gym,cardio....)
You'll lose a lot of weight already

> Step 2 :
1) Once you've learned yo eat properly,

2) Continue working out
You'll lose weight from eating less carbs (and not fucking eating more fats/prots)

You should already have lost 80% of the unwanted weight, and you shouldn't do step 3, or do it very exceptionally :
Go keto = Under 50 carbs (lot of vegies/fruits), more prots/fats

I need help /fit/, I live in a divided house in the roughest area of a city. New residents have just moved in and they sound gobby and chavy as fuck. I need to look tough and intimidating.

I've seen how they dress, harringtons, snapbacks, weird styles of dress. Its a male and a female and I'm scared. I havent had the chance to make acquaintance with them, yet just today a friend of theirs was living as I was entering. I said "Alright mate" to which he glarred at me and said "you goin' in there?" n just walked off.

I worried since I have to share a corridor and garden with them.

No. The body would take the excess protein and turn it into waste since it isn't being used efficiently. If the body has trouble doing so, it might force some to the fetus as an attempt to outlet the protein. Either way, the baby would not end up any better off than if the female took in the recommended daily dosage of protein.

Yes, actually, although they were short term. As of yesterday, I haven't missed a work out or run (or done less reps/sets than I intended to) in a month. Six days of lifting a week, running four times a week. Not even buff and not doing anything impressive, but I'm really happy to be in a position where I can finally be as consistent as I need to be.

I'm about to start diet to lose weight, about to go shopping for groceries. I've got a 1500 calorie target, how does this meal plan sound:

>Breakfast
Oatmeal with Almond milk, 1 Banana, Greek Yogurt (?), Cinnamon, Berries (if I can find them frozen)

>Lunch
Tuna sandwich (whole wheat bread) + some salad?

>Dinner
Brown rice + Chicken + Broccoli + spices/ sauces (I can mix these up a bit day to day for variety?)

>Snacks
Baby Plum Tomatoes, Carrots + Hummus (?)

Figuring out exactly how much of each ingredient I can use is going to be a massive pain, but does this sound okay?
