I'm thinking about writing some software to act as a personal trainer for myself at my house.

I'm going to use a text to speech library so that it can give me motivational words "you can do it!" and maybe a little kick in the butt "come on, you can do better!"

does anyone know what can bring on chronic fatigue?

I'm in a tropical region, and for weeks I've been the tiredest I've ever been in my whole life and
I'm at genuine risk of just falling asleep during the day if I stop moving, it's worst before lunchtime.
also getting spells of light headednes/weakness which is dangerous when I'm mountain climbing

getting 6-10 hours sleep daily, eating maybe 2 or three rice meals a day

Maybe a dietary deficiency? some kind of BS tropical disease? could it just be exhaustion?

any ideas?

For argument's sake, we'll all agree that squatting with a bar is best.

Now as for squatting without a bar for whatever reason (can't go to a gym, bar hurts back too much, no spotter available, etc.) what is the next best alternative? Would bodyweight squats even be worth it if you can do 20 without breaking a sweat?

Alright /fit/ I'm looking to get a side gig going on and I am thinking of becoming a personal trainer. It seems like a pretty easy way to earn a couple bucks on the side and a way to possibly learn something along the way.

Have any of you gotten your personal trainer certificate or are a personal trainer?

If so who did you go through and was it worth it and what have you done with it?

everytime i do a bulk, even when i'm relatively careful with caloric intake, i almost immediately gain a bunch of fat in my ass and stomach.

does anyone else experience this? any suggestions? not sure if i should tailor my diet/macros in a particular way, right now i get 1g/protein per lb of bodyweight (i weigh around 165lbs), then a pretty even split of carbs and fats.
