I always thought brown rice was better, as it keeps you full longer. But a friend of mine tried to redpill me on brown rice saying that it has some acid in it that inhibits gainz.

Don't follow his routine. Beginners need different routines than intermediate or advanced lifters.

Make sure you know how to squat, deadlift and bench.

Any BR bros out there (specifically zona sul in RJ) who can help a brother out with gym suggestions? I've been looking around at the gyms near me and none of them except for Bodytech, which is stupid expensive, seem to have enough of a freeweight section. I do powerlifting and really just need a place that has a squat rack, but you guys seem to be obsessed with smith machines.

Smart Fit looked alright, but the one near me looks like its smith machine only. Where do the actual lifting Brazilians workout?

I'm going to be here for a while and I need my squats, mang. Living in Ipanema

Can anyone show me VIDEO evidence that deadlifting is dangerous to the SPINE?

I was just wondering. How big can a man get natty? I know every body is different. But what is the estimated amount of muscle that a man can obtain natural?

Please post pics of real natty bodybuilders.

Im aware of the fact that roids don't always mean huge mass. You can also post pics of smaller bodybuilders that are no mass monsters but are still in the range of what is possible natty

this dude is 6'1'' and a pro rugby player so he's either natty or using a light and subtle enough cycle not to get caught, and i'd say this size with this level of body fat is pretty much the absolute upper limit of nattyness
not that i'm certain he's natty, but i think it's achievable with like 4 years and if your genetics are good enough

Start doing cardio my man, it's incredible how it improves your sleep. Also, lift in the morning and not evening

If you did 3x5 100kg Squat vs 3x8 80kg, over the course of reps, I'd lift more poundage/volume with the 3x8 with 80kg. Would this equate to more muscle growth or does it not work that way? I've read about sarcoplasmic hypertrophy but I wanna hear a few other peoples input on the situation.

What is the best martial art for every day life?
I'm not looking to beat people up, I'm not a very aggressive person at all, in fact I've never been in what you would consider a real fight.

Thing is, I know if I got in a real fight I'd probably be shitting myself even tho I'm 191 cm (6'3) and not too skinny, I'd love to pick up a martial art just so I can be confident talking back to some asshole instead of being afraid he might fuck me up.

A plus would also a be a martial art that makes me train correctly many different muscle groups so I can incorporate it into my currently quite lacking workout routine.

Every martial art will work every major muscle group. Just don't expect to put that much mass. Most you'll do is endurance training.
