Just keep at it nigga, in about a month you will laugh about your early struggles. I looked like a retard the first time I tried squatting because honestly I never had to squat in my entire fucking life. Fell over forward with the goddamn bar on my back.
A couple of weeks later you'll be warming up with that bar and not even noticing the weight anymore.

You could have just bought some spin-lock dumbells and worked on strength before biting the bullet at the gym. Not trying to be a dick head but I have no idea how people can't squat or bench just the bar. That's unfathomable to me and I don't believe anybody who says it.

It's when you slowly lower the bar then roll it towards your legs. Hurts a lot now just above my public area.
It's my fault though for not taking a rest day from yesterday.

It's a stretch, but does anyone remember the following:

A couple of years ago there was this yt channel we made fun of. A skinny guy was exercising by pushing a stationary object and that thing would measure how much N of force it endured. The guy would log his progression and show off his 'gains'. He would mock lifting weights and claimed his method was superior.

Really just a dude pushing a wall as hard as he could.... Anyone have a name or know if his videos are still up somewhere?

How much does protein quality matter?

Recently I've started eating more egg whites, which have a protein quality of 145. Prior to this I was eating quite a lot of steak/beef, which has a protein quality of only 83, and pork which wasn't much better.

Beans, by comparison, have a protein quality of 103 - not a complete protein, granted, but which can be made so with pasta/etc. Not that I'm getting my protein from carbs but it's an interesting comparison.

Proteins, on a molecular level are chains of amino acids. There's no such thing as steak proteins being better than ground beef proteins. They're the same thing.

What does matter is what comes with those proteins. Lean chicken protein may be better for you than a fatty burger patty, depending on your goals.

If you want to get into the nitty gritty science, then that's beyond my grasp. But also know that field of science is in its infancy, and I guarantee that what they believe today, won't be what they believe in the next few years, as is the case with EVERY new field of science. So take everything you read with a grain of salt, regardless of the source.

Assuming I had unlimited free time, all the motivation in the world and 24/7 access to a professional gym, what would I have to do to get big as quickly as possible. I understand you need to rest so muscles have time to build up, but I assume all these routines limit themselves by what they assume a normal person has time for.
How would they look if they paid no attention to that?
