How do you get yourself back in the zone when you fall off the wagon /fit/?
>>41745227
man up and pretty soon you'll feel high energy again
t. in this situation as well
>>41745280
I lacked access to a gym for a week, so instead of doing bodyweight I just took the week off. It's been a couple of weeks now and I'm back to going to the gym, but I can't stop overeating. Especially midnight snacks. Sucks too, cause I'm only about 15lbs and 6%bf away from my goal weight.

Hone your tai-chi! Hwaaaah! Chop chop hyah! ... O_O
Anyone else still autistic as fuck and here for years
>>41745223
> thinking this board won't just make you more autistic
How did you get this picture?
>>41745223
>t. tinychimp
>can't cook for shit, anything that isn't incredibly precise and brainless in it's instructions will be fucked up (can make hardboiled eggs, can't make scrambled eggs)
>can't stop eating fast food
>don't drink any water, only diet soda instead (water tastes bad to me, I feel intense craving for soda constantly throughout the entire day)
>can't get my diet in order, can't lose weight, can't get in shape
>feel depressed and miserable and hate myself
>emotional pain makes me crave more fast food and soda
I know what I'm supposed to be doing, but I can't get over the numerous psychological hurdles. I am a failure of a person. I know I need to 'eat right', I know what foods are good and what are bad, but I can't actually put together a concrete meal plan and I keep making the same fuckups
Help me /fit/, I want to be better
start with simple shit u can control. if you can follow instructions you obviously can cook
clean ur room

Tip for scrambled eggs, if you think they are done, you overcooked them
>>41745169
Wait what Scrambled eggs are even easier than hardboiled eggs. Just grab a bowl, crack 3 eggs into it, whisk and add milk a bit at a time until there is a white "outline" on the mixture (you can see milk on the sides). Then put in microwave full blast for 2 minutes, take out mash up, then put back in for another 2 minutes, if still runny (it shouldnt be at this point) put back in for another 2 minutes, then either eat in bowl with brownsauce/salt or served with the rest of your breakfast.
How is this complicated?
How the fuck do I do rack pulls without smashing my cock?
wear underwear
Lift with your dick
>>41745092
pick the right grip and fix your fucking form?
if youre doing rack pulls without knowing that then they are literally worthless for you
Remind me why rice is praised so highly when it is literally just calories. It provides basically no protein or fats, and no micronutrients. Why do people eat it and tell me to eat it?

2/10 bait, made me reply I guess.
>>41745037

Literally useless. Water has more nutrients than that garbage
Which form of row do you do and why?
I started my 5x5 with TBar rows but I want to switch over to seated cable bc the greater ROM
can I switch to cable or should I do barbell rows instead of tbar so I still have to use my lower back?
also general row and back muscle thread
>>41744687
I met two of those men (and maybe the coxswain but I cant tell) back in 2014.
>>41744687
both, lat pulldown + seated row of some sort + t-bar/pendlay/bent over row = good back
Row is my favorite lift.
I do a bent-over barbell high row (elbows out, bringing bar to just under my shoulders), as well as a dumbbell row with a neutral/hammer grip and the bell comes in line with my solar plexus. The high row gets a little more upper back and rear delt (similar to a face pull) and the dumbbell row targets lat.
I also do pullups and shrug, which are close cousins.
How much do you think Jaden Smith weights?

How long should someone rest between sets?
at least 48 hours
>>41744395
depends on lift, reps per set, if you are going up on weight keeping it the same or dropset.
>>41744405
Thanks anon. I did 8 reps today and was wondering if 3 naps, an episode of breaking bad and 2 meals wasn't enough time before I hit them again.
Where should I start with Ido Portal?
>>41744284
Don't.
There are PLENTY of other free resources that teach what he does with far less ego.
Look at handbalancing progressions.
If you want skills here are two
>One arm chin up
>Planche
These are two long term goals. A push and a pull.
If you don't have the creativity or intelligence to research these on your own, then you won't achieve them anyway.
Enlightenment is handed down from some wise guru. You must go on your own journey.
>>41744922
Isn't handed down
>>41744284
I respect what the guy stands for but movement20xx is less ego bloated and cheaper. You could also try just googling different functional body movement exercises and looking at youtube videos.

Do you guys look down on recreational steroid use? Is it generally frowned upon?
>>41744020
I don't really care. But yes of course roiding is frowned upon by most people.
I definitely do.
I understand if you're like a pro athlete and need to remain competitive, but guys just doing it because they wanna be alpha male chad or whatever are kind of pathetic.
There was one guy in here last year around this time who was bemoaning how he just kept losing gains no matter how hard he worked out after he quit using gear - only to find the reason he quit was because his dick basically stopped working. Yet here he was, crying on a japanese knitting board or whatever because muh gainz tho.
It's your body and do what you wanna do, but it's still kind of retarded.
>>41744020
It's frowned upon by brainwashed Americans largely due to the way they're brought up.
The whole "pledging allegiance" every morning and being told you can be anything you want to be provided you stay true to yourself and don't cheat is the reason.
Obviously in reality most of life is pure blind luck, but the remainder is massively helped along if you lie, cheat, and bullshit your way up in life. Just look at your president, and for the record, I have no issue with Trump.
Then because so many places, like here in the UK, import so much of American culture, that attitude spreads over here too. Again, I have no issue with us importing American culture. It works great. Take music for example - the US invents a genre, the UK makes it good, the US takes it back and makes it a bit better, both sides merge, everyone is happy.
But the downside is people look down on the likes of steroid use.
Why?
I can't be bothered going over the same old arguments, but the obvious one is "cheating".
Cheating who?
If someone said to you "I'm flying from New York to London" would you accuse them of "cheating" because they didn't decide to swim?
Unless you literally are cheating by doing it as a professional sportsperson (though it's rampant even there) there is no valid moral reason why steroids are "bad".
Again, I also think it's jealousy. Which is madness when you realise anyone can achieve a body like Zyzz with some time, effort, knowledge, and gear.
>Be me
>Doing curls
>Guy approaches me
>Hey bro you are doing it wrong you can hurt yourself
>Excuse me?
>Do you want me to call a trainer?
>Eh.. no thanks
>What am I doing wrong?
>Everything
>Ok, let me lower the weight
>How about now?
>Still doing it wrong
>I pick up the 10lbs
>How about now?
>He sighs and walks away
What did he mean by this?
Post your body before you call someone else DYEL, faggot.
>>41743790
>dyel approaches me
>i take his advice
never gonna make it
He meant that you were even doing curls, they're intimidating
How does weight cutting for MMA work?
Lets say there are two people who weight 180 lbs.
One guy has 20% bodyfat and the other has 15%. Which of the two would be able to cut the most weight without dying?
I've been told walking around with more fat is better because its excess weight but now I hear its better to walk around with less fat because muscle stores more water than fat and weight cutting is all about dehydration.
It's absolutely better to have more muscle less fat, exactly because of what you said. Weight cutting is pure dehydration.

Generally true, but there seems to be a sweet spot. If you have too much muscle, you lose flexibility and cardio
