Help me /fit/ l have a huge lifting problem, anytime l lift l start feeling dizzy as if l was going to pass out and stop lifting immediately and just take a shower (homegym helps alot), this only happened at the start of summer, l eat well and drink alot (like 5L/day), went to a doctor and turned out there's nothing wrong me(after 5 checks in different hospitals), worst part is l almost passed out yesterday, should l start taking multi vitamins or what ? This never happened before

I eat 2500 calories a day because l don't want to loose gains while being ottermode

Has becoming /fit/ helped you forget about her?

I've spent a lot of time since then improving myself, making great gains and getting in shape again, but... I'm still so miserable.
I have the discipline, but none of the motivation.

Does it ever get better, /fit/?

Whenever you have invasive thoughts about her, focus on something else.
Don't compare your life to hers.
Don't stay in touch with her.
Don't think of the past, think of the short term future.
Also, you'll never forget but the pain goes away.
Sometimes something will trigger a memory, it's shit but it happens.
Little by little you get better until you can barely remember her face.

I first got really into fitness because when I started working out I was struggling with a breakup, a friend wanted a workout buddy and twisted my arm in into joining him. Afterwards I realised that during those 60 mins or whatever I didn't think about her, I was focused on the workout and everything else drifted to the background - it gave me a reprieve from the sadness I was feeling.

That's what made me keep going and I eventually started seeing results and became addicted to seeing changes in myself, I learned discipline and for the first time in my life actually stuck to something.

I'm well over her now. I'm single but I've learned the value in not depending on other people to be happy. The gym still offers me solace in fact I went to the gym the day my Dad died just to give myself 90 mins where the pain and losss was slightly numbed by focusing on the workout.

The answer is to some degree yes. But I do it for myself always - was never for her or anyone else.The only thing that ever heals is the passage of time OP.

Finally I get my hands on some concrete plates and a non standard bar as well as a bench

At least that's what I assume. If my weights are calibrated correctly then in total they are 34kg but I don't know the weight of my bar as it isn't a standard one so I doubt it is 20kg. How the fuck am I so weak for my height/weight? As I said the weights are those shitty bumper plates that are made of concrete encased in plastic. Could they be calibrated incorrectly or am I just a weak piece of shit?

I've been on TRT for a number of years and due to insurance issue have had to cease it for a short period (about 2 months so far)

Since stopping my libido has gone up and the intensity of my orgasms and power of ejaculations have increased as well.

We ”know” higher frequency low/medium volume training probably is better than low frequency high volume. Still if your goals are aesthetics over strength you will almost always be pointed towards a low frequency high volume routine. When you look up a routine made by other athletes they will recommend a brosplit routine. These kinds of routines are usually recommended for advanced trainees but why wouldn’t those who recommend them be aware of that / mention it?

Not counting PPL as a ”split” routine since it’s still in the range of 2x/week frequency, talking about a complete 5 day (back/chest/legs/shoulders/arms) alternatively 4on1off.

Is there NO TRUTH AT ALL behind doing brosplits for aesthetics? Feels unlikely that EVERYONE that recommends these routines are either lying/wrong/on steroids/genetic outliers.

Anyone who can be called a "professional athlete" effectively does a full body workout at least 5 times a week as part of practicing their sport. The weights just add a nice pump once a week.

No. China has the best state sponsored doping program since the fall of the GDP. Hence why they suddenly started winning next to every gold they enter in WLing even though the country had no legacy within the sport.

The good news for you is that if you're a casual WLer and not tested you can get his body very easily. WL and then take 20-40mg TBOL 4-6 weeks on/same off or 20mg DBOL 2w on/off. These are athletic doses and you do not need much to get the strength/light muscular benefit.

I'm competing in a bjj comp in 3 days time.
my friend who tends to know more about diet/nutrition then me told me I should eat fuck loads of carbs every meal for about a day and a half before the day of the competition.

advice on the best way to load up?
180cm, 70kg if that matters?

Just eat normal, big and healthy meals, but don't overeat like crazy. Then get plenty of sleep 1-2 days before.

Carb loading is for people with diet plans, which I assume you don't have.

Tried some BTN press with 40kg (I do 50k regular OHP for 6 reps so I didn't think that would be too much) and now I have some soreness and mild pain in one of my rotator cuffs. I always thought my shoulder mobility was very good but obviously not. What do?
