Ahahaha fuck off buda
How do I 'catch up' with muscles?
>been lifting for 9 weeks now
>8 weeks of those were with a bad routine
>chest lacking behind now
Should I only do my chest exercises for the time being? Stop linear progression on my other exercises? Continue as usual?
You ever hear of that there cell tech?
>>41878606
current routine? lifts? Is your bench lagging behind?
If you cut, your pecs will be more visible.
Anon the Pecs are one of the only muscle groups which can look somewhat aesthetic whilst having them be underdeveloped. A lot of people crave a "flat" look which most of the time comes from just not having a ton of pectoral muscle whilst also having good insertions and frame. I would suggest you cut down sometime soon and see how you look at a lower bf % before you start worrying about it. Another option of course is to just add some isolation exercises to your routine that you didn't have before.

Why do I have less cravings than when I eat normally? This is weird.
>>41878526
Your body starts burning fat instead so you're eating all day.
Confess your sins.
What vanity muscles do you overtrain? You can choose from chest, biceps, calves, or shoulders.
>>41878356
>calves
>vanity
Dude you probably use those muscles more than any other
>>41878368
Calves really dont need isolation training. Running is plenty.

Post calves, man
I'm naturally an ectomorph who's been having a lot of trouble gaining weight! I try to eat until I feel sick and then eat more but I still haven't been gaining weight. Here's what my daily diet is like:
Wake up:
Banana & Granola Bar, pre workout
(Work out)
Breakfast:
Sweet Potato & 3 eggs
Protein shake (w 2 scoops of whey protein and 2 cups of milk)
(Go to work)
Lunch:
Tupperwear of chicken and some green vegetable (broccoli or kale) and more sweet potato
Snack:
Milk
Almonds
Protein Bar
Dinner:
2 turkey burgers and green vegetable (broccoli or kale)
Snack:
Milk, Almonds, Greek yogurt
I drink about half a gallon of milk every day (working my way up to GOMAD status)
I calculated the total calories to range from 3000-3200.
I'm 6'1 and 163 lbs and want to put on at least 10 pounds.
I'm suggested to eat around 6700 calories but right now I feel as if I'm over eating.
Any way for me to sneak MORE food in? I know milk, protein shakes and sweet potatoes are good, calorie & nutrient dense foods, but I feel sick whenever I eat because I feel like I'm over eating every time.

me on the left

Good intermediate program without cleans or any olympic lifts?
I don't have space in my garage to do cleans safely, wondering what I should do. My squat is 290 for 5x5

phul
>>41878336
Just replace olympic lifts with pendlay rows
i only eat once a day to lose weight. i have a nice, big lunch, and i eat until i'm full, and i drink water or coffee the rest of the day. am i crash dieting? am i going to fail like a retard and gain it all back? i don't mind gaining it back in the space of a few years, like i did before when i did keto (i lost like 40lb in about half a year and gained them back in like three years). i just don't know if something horrible is going to happen and i'm going to end up eating tubs of ice cream for some reason
can you continue your diet forever?
>>41878175
what's that pie thing in the background?
>>41878183
at some point i'm going to be tempted by a sausage or something outside of my lunch hour, so no. if someone told me that i'm going to become sick if i don't continue the diet i could do it forever, i think
>>41878187
i don't know
I'm trying to get educated on strength training but it seems everything I find concerning lifting weights in general nowadays is wayyyyy to biased into three categories. Either you got crossfit people that just wanna do everything for the sake of doing lots of reps on everything without concern for the weight, or you have bodybuilders who don't care about weight but more about muscle, and you got this new trend of powerlifters that just wanna lift a lot but ONCE without any consideration for being muscular or repetition power.
Where can I find information about developing that particular kind of "brute strength" of old, that kind of training that translates into both a great physique and massive strength feats and that incredible endurance of old. You know, shit like benching 500lbs for sets of 6 instead of several singles. That functional "power" that only strongman have and nobody ever writes anything about.
I have little concern for doing singles, or doing a fuckton of reps with little weight, or being big for the sake of being big. I want it all. Heavy weight for lots of reps, while looking great all the same.
Where can I find info about training for that?
Those generalizations don't seem right at all.

Is there something like SS for cycling?

Yes im an oldfag. I would give anything to go back to the time where you would see this in a magazine and not think it was weird.
It's been 12 years since I last rode a bike, and I kinda want to start again. Is it too late?
>>41877539
I'm 22 and never rode a bike. Not planning to win races, but I want to be able to deliver more power over longer periods
my leg started shaking during OHP
i could kind of land it on the safety's while i started collapsing to the ground.
on the ground my leg shaked for 5 more seconds before stopping. afterwards it was like nothing happened.
so
wtf happened?
>>41877469
not sure, but it sounds like cancer
Standing OHP naturally engages your core and legs for stability while lifting - it's completely normal.
>>41877469
Really weak legs or nervous shit going wrong. Was it painful?

lol he still looks like a necklet. he was just flexing it in that "before and after" pic.
>>41877325
very good insights, why doesn't he buy one of these ecg machines that measure muscle activation and work it out exactly himself? if he spends all that money on gym equipment it's surely got to be worth it to make his own experiments, then he would truly become as great as a manlet can be.
My little bro (15) is getting into lifting and was asking me about creatine. Is creatine safe for someone his age?
>>41877074
Creatine being dangerous is a fucking meme. That being said, your brother shouldn't lift because he is 15 and will ruin his bones and stay short (manlet) forever.
You should encourage him to do cardio and pushups/situps/pullups etc until he turns 18 before hitting the weights.
>>41877100
>creatine is a meme
>begins to spout memes about lifting stunting growth
nigga wat
>>41877100
Kek
Creatine part is true rest is not. Ilya had world records at 16, and he's normal hieght. Lifting heavy has been shown to correlate with larger bone structure.
Op totally lift with your brother.
Hey /fit/ I'm looking to join the military (air force specifically) and just wanted some ideas for extreme cutting. I currently weigh around 192lbs and need to get down to 174lbs. The quicker I lose weight the faster I can enlist. Currently im doing the keto diet but im not losing weight fast enough. Can you guys help out? I'm happy to answer any questions.
>enlisting
not gonna make it
>>41877032
You must not be doing keto corectly if you aren't losing weight. Are you using myfitnesspal to track macros, ketosis usually occurs when you eat less than 50g carbs for ~1week. Keto also doesnt mean stuffing your face with fat. You can but not recommended is to do a vegetable/fruit juice fast, but it'd be constant shits and you'd end up doing your body harm thru lack of macro nutrients.
My advice is to run run and run while doing pushups sit ups and pull ups, thats all that matters during bmt and pt tests while eating 500-800 calories less than your TDEE and lose weight in a slower yet consistent time frame.
Airforce is a good choice, I'm currently training for tacp.
>>41877134
I use My plate to track my macros and usually eat a lot more protein than fat everyday which I know is supposed to be opposite but I don't enjoy fatty things that much. I also run a mile everyday and walk at least 3. I was doing push ups, sit ups and crunches every other day but I'll step it up to everyday. Also I started keto about 2 and half weeks ago and lost around 7 lbs is that good? I also usually eat 1500 cal a day but there are a few outliers
>>41877118
I've already got my bachelors and was going to go OTS or Direct Commision but it could take up to 18 months when I could just enlist and get there a little later in my career
