Before anyone says it, I know that no legal supplement is offer steroid like results and that many supplements are over-hyped. I also know that you can progress just fine without any supplementation. However, that doesn't mean that there aren't some supplements that are well researched and proven to offer a slight benefit.

I'm not asking for a miracle pill, just a little extra help.

I've recently started a really demanding powerlifting program and I've been seeing fantastic progress but I'm finding it a bit difficult to recover from. Are there any effective supplements to aid recovery?

Is keto the way to go for me?

I'm closing in on 230 lbs. I'm 6'0. Managed to be lazy as fuck the last 5 months and put on 20 lbs. I felt pretty good around 210. Felt fat some days, but felt better some days. I just feel fat 90% of the time now. I am fat. I'm obese according to BMI.

When I was 210, I got down to 190, using keto, but it seemed to kinda slow down around that. I felt great at 190, but 170 is my long term goal. I don't know, is shedding about 60 lbs. doable?

I know this is all of my my doing, but having a fatter gf who is always down for food and offering me food, is hard to fucking say no to. I feel like before I know it, I'll be 300 lbs.

So basically I was trying to do 2plate bench. When I started pushing up my first rep I felt something bubbling between my ass cheeks and as I got the weight up I shat myself so hard I fell to one side with the bar and fell to the ground. Thankfully I didnt hit myself or anything but I was so ashamed to get up I sat there for 3 minutes with shit dripping down my leg until the girl at the counter came and told me to leave.
Does this usually happen or is it just an isolated incident?

When i try to squat this part hurt so bad that i can barely squat even on empty bar, before this wasn't the problem. I always drive a bike for about 10 min to warm up my legs, what am i doing wrong?

Based on what you're telling it sounds like you're not bracing your core properly, and putting alot of strain on your inguinal ligaments. Fix your pelvic position first and foremost, get that lordosis straightened out from your lower back, get those hip flexors strong and long by stretching/strengthening, and the most important: learn to activate your deep abdominal layer of muscles, the transverse abdominis by gently pulling your belly button towards your spine, and AFTER that activating your outer abdominal muscles, the rectus abdominis and the obliques. The problem with where you are getting sore is that you risk inguinal hernia if you continue that way, so get your pelvis and core activation fixed and the pain should go away, good luck bro.

Can I substitute inverted rows (since I know how to do them) and use a weight belt to progress instead? Does it really matter since it's all the same muscles being worked?

I know how you feel. Just keep experimenting with any barbell row variation you can find until you are satisfied. Just gonna do heavy rack pulls followed by bent over 90° rows from now on.

Can caffeine fuck with your memory? I've been working 50-60 hour weeks the past month or so and I've upped my caffeine intake to make it through the days

I'm not sure if it's the caffeine or the long days, but I feel like I have dementia. Each day I wake up I literally have to take a couple seconds to figure out what day it is, I also keep forgetting simple things, someone can ask me a question about something that happened an hour ago and it feels like a difficult task recalling it.

I have a very shitty and vague recollection of what happened the previous day

Vitamins. Take them
Good meals. Skip the fast food as often as possible. If you're used to meal prep this is easier.
Cut the alcohol. Weed too.
Leave time each day for a winddown, a workout, or something personal. Some of my best progress is when I've run two a days on top of a 14hr workday.
