Been slacking on lifting this year, been too busy with uni.

Got a 4 week holiday coming up and planning on just sleeping/eating/lifting 5-6 days a week during it.

Also been between 2200-2500 cals all year and gonna bump up to 3000-3500 for the break too.

What supps will aid me on this?

Can you go into a greater calorie deficit if you have a lot of body fat and still build muscle?

I see people here say you can remain in a deficit and build muscle until you reach 10-15% body fat but nobody ever cites that shit

Think about it. If you weigh 250lbs. And are eating 3500 calories a day. But only getting 120 or 150 grams of protein a day because you're fat and stupid. Well, you'll remain fat and stupid.

Now. Let's say you start eating 2500 calories a day. And getting 210grama of protein. While doing some strength training and a little cardio. Well, what do you think will happen, anon?

I did them today for the first time and the only place I felt it was my delts and lungs, a complete DYEL might get bigger arms but it's just cardio and some shoulder work at the end. If anything it'll give you "cut" arms because it'll give you "cut" everything. Because it's HIIT.

I'm be dragging ass on abs so much I can only make it through half my routine again. I still force as many reps as I can but I start to fail reps half way through.

you don't have to drink 4 gallons of milk to do starting strenght. SS is good for any beginner and your diet is a totally separate issue

So /fit/ I've been working out 6 or 7 days a week for 5 months or so. Tomorrow I'm leaving for a 13 day trip to another state and I likely won't have a gym. Will I lose much strength with a week off or should I find a gym?

I'm about to do a 3 month cut to lose as much bodyfat as possible while still maintaining gains. Only thing is that I'm not sure whether a ketogenic diet or a standard diet would be better or if either would actually be better at all. Obviously they both create a calorie deficit and this is what causes weight loss, but from experience I know that body composition is more complicated than calories in calories out.

Basically I've heard that a keto diet leads to a greater amount of fat loss compared to muscle, but is there actually any truth to this? It feels unnatural to be having coconut oil and butter in place of things like oats and vegetables, but equally it kind of makes sense with the whole "burning fat for energy" thing

I want to change,I want to get fit bros.I did read the sticky and i'm looking for a gym to join now.

But theres one question left,due to my past retardation I got surgery in my right hand,they put me 2 screws and it looks like pic related now.

My knuckles dont look right and I was wondering if there will be any problem with doing starting strength as i'm going to be increasing the weight constantly and doing pull ups.

I know it's a hard question,but maybe someone in here has this same problem and I just dont want to risk getting more surgery and fucking up my hand even more.
