Tbh, crossfit memeing aside, they look pretty decent.

But you can get adidas powerlift 3.0s for cheaper when they are on sale, which is pretty often. And they are great.

i've been continually losing weight for over a year now but about two weeks ago ive been stuck at 196 pounds on the dot, and it isnt moving anywhere.

i do weight training five days a week with HIIT on monday and friday, and a 5-12km run on wednesday.

Hey Fit. Just wanted to know what are the best tips you use to make your day better. I have noticed that when I try and list 4-5 things to get done in a day that is not really as effective as just deciding what I absolutely wont waste my time on.


My List:

1hr Internet Browsing Max. Prevent idleness
No Porn.- No Fap: If less than 5 days since last.

No Browsing just because.
No Complaining or making excuses
No Negative thoughts- Can be hard to catch.
No Sugar- Strict no carbs 3-4 days of week.
No Processed food etc.

Any additions or do you want to share your own.

I quit playing video games a few weeks ago after years of playing 10 hours a day. Come home after work, play until night etc..

I've noticed a big difference in the way I think and mindfulness these days, a week after quitting I had like one day were I really wanted to get back into a game, but I just replaced my downtime with reading a book

As far as lists go, If I have a to do list for the day I usually hit every goal for the day, the issue with me is having a daily/weekly list in the first place. Not easy to plan this shit out

Is it better to train with heavy weights fewer times (2-3-4) per week or with lighter weights more times per week (5-6-7)?

Generally lighter, say 65-70% average intensity. Doing 90%+ intensity for extended periods of time isn't great. however, both are needed

So the solution is periodization, right? Doing one week with heavy weights, then a week of light weights, then heavy etc.

I do, now in bad streak of a few days of eating a bit to much. Water retention truly discourages if you weight in every day.

Whenever i bench i get ridiciolously tired very very quickly. After 4x12 i am no longer able lift anymore for like two days, and my arms turn so yello-like that just sitting upright on my bike becomes almost impossible.

Is this supposed to happen? I do get enough protein, water, calories and all that shit. I've only been lifting for 2 weeks.

I can only do chest every 5/6 days or so, but it seems to work for me. I mean if your chest is wrecked with doms for the next couple of days you've clearly done something right...

Maybe try Frank Zane's way: three sets - 12, 10, 8 - increase weight each set. (I like to finish off with a superset with flyes or whatever). 4x12 just seems like a weird routine to me.
