My friend bought me a tub of cinnamon protein powder as a gift (they didn't have vanilla in stock so I thought it was the next best thing), but I didn't realize until after I got it that cinnamon is mostly suited to breakfast and dessert foods. However, I don't wanna make 30 meals worth of cinnamon pancakes and muffins. What can I put it in to make me not regret every meal?

Sup, /fit/.

tldr: Need recommendations on 5-day split to introduce my girl to lifting.

Long version: My girl wants to start lifting with me and by next month I'd like to start her off on either S/L or SS. Until then I decided to take her to the gym 5 days per week to get her body accustomed to lifting, conditioning, and working on proper form. I'm looking for a preliminary 5-day split which will focus on volume (and maintaining form) before we transition into building strength. I would like her to train squats, diddies, bench, rows and OHP at least once per week during these first few weeks. She's a small girl so OHP will be substituted with dumbbells.

I am open to suggestions/advice as long as they meet the 5 days a week criteria. We currently hike 3-4 times a week, I'm on a 3 day split, any other info just ask.

The whole point of SL and SS are to get the body accustomed to lifting, conditioning, and working proper form. That's why you start at a low weight, work on form, and work up to where it starts to challenge you. Stop being fucking retarded.

Mon: Heavy bag(boxing not kickboxing) w/ 16oz gloves for 6 rounds 3min on 1min off

Tue: Lap pool

Wed: Treadmill
Round robin in that order

Sat/Sun: Rest or body weight exercises push ups, pull ups, etc.

First time gym goer here.

Did some tricep machine workout 3 days ago. Now it hurts like hell anytime I bend my arms. I've been to the gym before many years ago and I can remember there being a burning pain when I did chest and biceps, but nothing like this.

Is this normal?

Well what's the pain like? There's a good chances it's delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS) and that goes away as you work out more. Cold showers help with getting rid of soreness. If it's burning, idk, but sharp pains could mean injury. Also

It means you haven't used a muscle in a long time. Doms goes away with time, but yeah, I suppose it's a sign you utilized the muscle.
Read the sticky, hop on a strength program and get diet down. It's the difference between you still being dyel or making gains for the next few months man

Recomp first imo if you've never lifted before

if you are over 15% bf cut first and get down to around 12-15. then do a controlled bulk. aim to gain around 1 lbs every 2-3 weeks and do some cardio after lifting to minimize fat gain. once you get to around 15-18% cut down again.

pick a program that has you do some hypertrophy mixed with strength like candito linear or candito 6 week and do it. with that kind of small caloric surplus you can bulk for entire year before having to cut and you'll have a decent body in 2 years.

Is it because I only do double overhand? I mean, golly fuck. I used to use straps but wanted to get my forearms stronger. It was easier for me to squat 385 than to deadlift 385 when I was 210 a couple months ago.
