I got one from doing weighted neck curls. It's basically because your neck muscles are weak AND you fucked up on form/volume/ etc.
It'll go away eventaully. just rest. but if it becomes unbearable or worsens, see a doc.

Sup /fit/. 25 year old airline pilot here. Job made me fat (6'0" 200lb), working on losing it through lifting and eating better. Read the sticky, I'm now drinking protein shakes and taking creatine. Week 3 of gym and I feel my persistence is starting to pay off.
