yes lose fat because it helps lose fat overall. especially if it is a colder water like olympic swimming pools.
it won't make you huge unexpectedly, maybe your arms get a bit more toned but if you are a girl without taking any suplements you'll never get too big. if you thought u were you could just cut back on the swimming. you're not going to be swimming as often as girls on the swim team. if you're a guy why would you not want more muscle?

I Just started going to gym and I am a skelly piece of shit and am getting mad doms. I’m starting a trade job soon and am worried about doms affecting my performance at my job. What should I do?

So i failed my last rep on bench press and as i pulled it up to put the barbell back on the pins(was doing bench on the power rack) for my next set i felt a sharp pain on my right wrist. Went to the doctor the day after and he gave me some painkillers. It's been 2 weeks since then and i still feel pain on my right wrist. Anyone know what the problem could be? Going back to the doctor tomorrow.
If it helps i can do underhand pull ups with only the tiniest amount of pain but when i try doing overhand pullups(aka chinups) i immediately start feeling a lot of pain on my right wrist. I circled the area where the pain is.

Best case scenario: soft tissue sprain, heals by itself in a couple of weeks
Bad case scenario: carpal bone ligament tear around os triquetrum/pisiforme, may take a long time to heal or need surgery.
Listen to your doctor anon, see a hand specialist if the pain doesn't go away

Banged my knee against the squat rack after I failed my 4th rep on mg third set. Split the skin open but thankfully the knee isn't cracked, etc. Have a leg workout this Thursday and,going out of town Friday so may just do the leg stuff the following week If I don't feel good by Thursday.

Any tips on my issue?

I believe I smoked hours before I worked out but was still buzzed and it didn't really affect me. My friend did it before but really there's no benefit. You're basically making your body numb when you want to be super pumped and energized b4 your workout, hence the reason people take pre workouts or coffee.

Haven't smoked but take hits of co2 oil vape. Have really great workouts and get that mind muscle connection. I'd never smoke before a workouts it would probably make me too stupid..

let's say somebody becomes a vegan for ethical reasons

I've been doing arm workout almost every time I go to the gym, curling 60 lbs barbell for 12x5, 20kg weighted dips 10x5, weighted chinup, wrist curls, yet my biceps are still only 14.5-15 inches.

What's the secret of curlbros?

How long have you been training? It takes a long time to get really big and lean arms.

The guy in your pic uses steroids by the way, that is generally the biggest "secret" to getting big anything.

Let's say your body can build 1kg of muscle a month. You're doing a full body routine an biceps are 10% of your workout. So you're going to build 100g of biceps muscle in a month with 900g of muscle somewhere else. The curlbro on the other hand is going to build 1kg of biceps muscle because he's doing nothing but curls.

That's also why SS is a terrible routine for aesthetics compared to a split.

Hi /fit/ .
I'm skinnyfat as fuck, and I really, really want to be at least semi not shit looking by the end of the year. My longterm goal is to get thicc and muscly but I want to lose fat first. How should I do this without going skelly?
Should I do a fullbody routine like SL and eat at maintenance, should I cut? Bodyweight at home?
I have gyno as well, so when I lose fat I'm gonna get rid of that.
