Before I had a cellphone, I carried a vita. I used it for games, wifi, and listening to music. Usually during commutes but also if I got into work before my shift.

Don't bring it to the gym ,it will distract you from the reason you are there. If you have to game, play one round of a mobage and then get back to work.

Why do my knees hurt so bad a day after squatting. It never used to be like this until I started SL 5x5. I tried switching it up to low bar but that didn't seem to help much. I even got squat shoes.

Alright /fit ive crossed my threshold of 200 pounds. I've calced my tdee, and got my fitness pal, i just need a basis for a running schedule, i hav asthma and a hand with this would be helpful. Thanks.

Just started a group running program today at my local YMCA where we go from lazy fucker to 5k runner in about a month and a half.

During this first session, I noticed that my right calf was "feeling the burn" a lot while we were running, but my left one wasn't. Right felt like it wanted to die, Left felt like it could go for another three hours of jogging. Stopped for a lap to rest, because I felt bad about not moving, I hopped on an elliptical for a bit to make up for it and that saw my right calf relax greatly before going back and it seizing up again.

Any thoughts /fit/bros? I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Charlie Horse, and I'm also not sure if this is something I'm supposed to work through or if I should get it addressed by a physician immediately before continuing. Because this is a problem I've noticed even if I just walk a great distance, one calf starts hurting like hell

Not the poster above, but it should go away as you keep doing your program. If it's an imbalance, it will fix itself after a bit. But that is assuming it's just an imbalance.

Anyone have a gym nemesis? I'll start with a guy at my gym

>go away for freshman year of college
>come back for summer break, I continued lifting and he must have stopped trying
>now out-lift him by at least 1 pl8 for everything
>same thing happens for sophomore year and junior year
>now he brings his new gf to the gym and constantly throws me glances to check to see if I'm jealous
>couldn't care less, she's got a face like a bat
>still tries to outdo me, struggles with poor form on dumb shit like rope pushdowns
