WHEN WILL THEY LEARN
How do I cut my calories dramatically without relapsing back to eating like a fatass?
>>42860530
Short answer is pic related
Lemme know if you need that shit elaborated son
You don't, dumbass. Cut back gradually and if you have patience, you will make it. Wanting quick results through drastic measures is fat fuck mentality.
>>42860557
Please elaborate anon
Pic related is from Wikipedia which lists a 1940 book about women and how they can look hotter for their men as the source.
I have seen anecdotal evidence that treating lumbar hyperlordosis can increase height just like treating hyperkyphosis does. I have seen arguments from both sides.
So /fit/
Is this a meme or do you have sauce?
Dont think its a meme but the gains are not that much as the pic suggests. Also depends how fucked your tilt is. I gained 1cm to 1.5cm from fixing forward head posture, curved shoulders and a minor tilt.
>>42860379
I did it and gained 1 cm
But i have make it more straight
I hope i can get 2 more cm

Starting steroids is just stupid people's things.
On which days, at what time and for how long do you work out, /fit/?
Also, we're all going to make it.
>>42860357
Fuck off assassins.
>>42860357

ive been working out 7 days a (Avg 2 hours) week for 3 weeks. I think I got a hernia yesterday. Todays workout wasn't that great...going to take a couple days off now =/

There's a reason only teens with septum piercings believe in such trivial garbage.
I have calcific tendonitis in my right Supraspinatus which makes pushups, pullups, benching and delt exercises very painful.
I used to work through it but now it's like one end of the straight bar has double the weight as the other
Any one have some good work around for getting /fit/ while having limited ROM in their shoulders?
>>42860172
Just, work through it lighter
>>42860241
>>42860172
Having the same issue, any help would be appreciated.
I think mine was caused by snatches, catching in an unstable shoulder position, and now I can't do anything. Even front rack position hurts.
>/fit/ constantly advocates using steroids
>/fit/ berates men who use hair systems
Explain.

This guy is a famous and respected strength coach who pulls 600+ (aka double your pull)
What do you even say to him?
Seems like these unconventional lift guys are everywhere now, but now they're strong and you can't tell them they're retards.
I don't really care.
The internet is flooded with morons who think the only way to effectively train is the big 4 and that anything they heard on Reddit that was "bad" (btn press, upright rows are two good examples) are never capable of being any use.
Basically, the internet fitness forum generation are a bunch of insecure manchildren who have chronic fear of failure that seeps into their mindset regarding anything that isn't exactly what they are doing. They are scared that other things can work and so they will talk shit about those things.
bump.
cunts need to know the truth. you can't run away. this is the future of lifting.
>>42859912
Show me the meet results.
So I fasted for 2-3 days then went ketogenic for 2 days then went high carb for a day.
I repeated this pattern for about 3 weeks.
After the carb day I felt like I hit 15 pounds of cocaine ran around my house then went to sleep.
I was also extremely productive and dug a ditch in my yard and built shit all over the place.
I am curious if there was a scientific test that studied the effects of performance and this pattern in sports that could confirm I was not experiencing some type of placebo effect or something.
>>42859755
well yeah obviously you're not getting energy from ketones when you eat carbs
you basically just got a sugar rush like humans were intended to get originally
(sparingly)
>>42859778
Yeah, I get that like giving a kid candy and he gets a sugar high. I was just wondering if there was a study done in this manner on sports performance
>>42859824
carb loading
athletes drinking Gatorade or barley
a lot of carbs before working out or sports
How the fuck do I fix this shit? Did anyone of you had it and we're you able to fix it? I am sick of this shit posture. I thought lifting would help but it fucking worsened it.
I show all symptoms of it {( sway back, pelvic tilt, knee bending or whatever you call it)
generally for LCS you do a lot of glute and core work. stretch hip flexors
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQ8NJRCSyb4
>>42859329
vacuums and dedlifts
>>42859329
front squats
snatch grip deadlift
these two exercises fixes all posture related shit
Last week I squatted 3x5 @ 255 and I felt like I was close to failure, should I try 265 this time or deload?
>>42859276
3*5*265
Solid unrack. If it feels like you're straining or exerting yourself to liftvthe bar less than 2", you're not tight enough in tw rack position
Don't take excess time after walkout. 2-3 steps is enough.
Full body tension at top. If any part of you feels like a pool noodle you're doing it wrong.
No loss of tension during eccentric. If you lose tension, it's going to be harder to reverse and come up
Juts got back from gym, warmed up, loaded up 265, got 3 reps, on the 4th felt a slight pull, on 5 went down and stayed down. I hurt my lower back, what do /fit/?
>>42861313
Practice how to fail squats with lighter weights first so you don't panic and hurt yourself with the heavier weights.
I'm a 18 year old male and I had a 2 kilometer graded running test today.
I ran in 10:15 which I know sucks but I'd like to really improve it.
The re-test is in a month.
What should I do? Is there a running program as there is to building muscle?
I am willing to give it 100% so I don't care which method is the most efficient, I just want to become as fast as possible (preferably under 09:00)
M8 you should easily be able to run under 9:00 unless you're fat.
Your best option is to Google how to improve your mile and extrapolate that to 2k. The mile is a much more popular distance.
Rip Opie
I'm 18 and have to run a 2.4k in 11 mins or less
I'm looking to do it in 9 minutes and its the hardest shit it ever done in my life.
My only advice is to load up on caffeine, steal some kids inhaler and scream when it gets painful because it does get painful.
>>42859272
I know 10:15 sucks but I asthma. With that being said I haven't ran in a year so I'm pretty confident that I'm able to reduce it.
Also good idea. I Googled 2k so much but didn't find anything. A mile is almost the same distance so I'm going to Google it now.
