Hey /fit/ sorry if this question and thread are retarded and I am out of line but I have a question about weight loss plateus.

2 months ago I weighed in at 360 pounds when I asked /fit/ and some friends about weight loss. Since then I have cut out fast food, eaten 1000 cal below my tdee every day and worked out cardio/weights 4-6 days a week.

I've lost 24 pounds so far with progress being made every week. This last week into this one though 0 progress, not a pound.

I've been adjusting my TDEE and staying under calorie wise. I am worried I hit a plateau(if that's even a real thing) and if I HAVE I don't know what to do about it.

Any advice on knowing when you hit a plateau and how to fix it?

Switch something up. Try IF, change your workouts, replace some unhealthy choices with healthier stuff, cut back on bread/carbs, cut out soda, drink more water daily, get adequate sleep.
Any combination of these will help.
If all else fails, take a day or two off. Don't go crazy, but allow yourself a couple small cheats throughout the day (assuming you really have been en pointe throughout your journey). Sometimes it can help. Only do that as an absolute last resort and only if you know 100% you can get right back into your healthy ways after

I cheat one day a week (still under tdee just not worried about what's in it if you know what I mean) I don't drink soda and mainly drink water.

I'm gonna be on Vacation in a few weeks which I just know will fuck up my diet since vacays always do.

At what point should I decide to IF or change up work outs or what have you, how long without progress does it take to qualify as something that needs addressing?

Not that I am not 100% willing to change, I am just curious as to if I am worrying over nothing after 1 week with no lose.

Deal with hunger, you're not dying. You could go a year without food and survive.

C25k will tell you when to walk and run but it follows the C25K program. There's a Zombies Run version of it too, but that also includes dumb shit like high knees.

The regular Zombies Run will have zombies chase after you to tell you to speed up during your run. I guess you could just walk for a while and run during those parts.

I'm a little confused as to why you need an app to tell you when to run and when not to. Unless you're trying to follow a program like C25k, just tell yourself.

Is it normal for a fat guy like myself (5'10" - 230 lbs right now) to jog/run for 4 miles straight everyday on the treadmill and not get physically tired? I mean my shins start hurting a little bit towards the end but I'm never like out of breath or anything.

I have lost 14 pounds in 3 weeks (most of it water weight I'm sure, I used to be 244) and I do lift heavy weights. Just wondering if there is a thing as running too much.

Also I used to be an active soccer player but that was like 10 years ago (I'm 28 now)

How tall are you? I think it depends. If you're like 5'4", then don't lie, not like they wont notice. If you're like 5'8", might as well add an inch or two, majority of women won't be able to tell the difference anyway.

Is the dumbbell pullover the most underappreciated exercise there is? It hits your lats, upper chest, serratus, and triceps in ways that I have trouble feeling with other exercises. I've recently fallen in love with supersetting these after bench press.

Does /fit/ like pullovers? What kind do you do?

Only started doing pullovers recently, but I noticed it really helps my comically flat upper chest beef up against my fat muscle titties.
A+ exercise for this alone imo.

I have slipped again bro's, I missed the gym and ruined my diet. So I come back to you /fit/

I don't need you guys to inspire me this time like you have done many times in the past, I make this thread to show even those who have been at this for a while can slip up. Each failure makes it easier to stand back up, each failure makes you stronger even if it dosnt feel like it sometimes.

All my shit clicks and snaps by itself so I dunno. One time I woke up with a terrible pain in my left trap (?) whenever I moved my head. I was no joke close to tears until I bit down on a cloth, braced myself and then gave my neck a mighty big crack which made the pain lessen. So yea, maybe it's good for you but ti feels good so do it anyway.
