I've read the sticky

Since about two-three months now I've been experiencing mild lower back pain. It started as a rather sharp pain first when I sat myself in the car after what I'm assuming was poor form squats/deadlifts.

I stopped doing the exercises altogether for about a week and the pain diminished. Started doing the exercises again and the pain came back, not as sharp but still noticeable.

I tried not doing the exercises for about three weeks, but a slight pain lingered, especially noticeable when flexing my lower back.

Went to see a physiotherapist about a week ago and he said they can't really do much, but he showed me a couple of meme exercises which were meant to relieve the pain. Sometimes they help a bit, but it's still scary to do (heavily deloaded) squats and deadlifts with this going on. He said it's likely a disc bulge.

Now I'm doing heavily deloaded deadlifts, no squats what so ever, then the typical benching and chin-ups and shit like that. At these weights there's not a lot of pain, but still noticeable.

I'm kind of at a loss for ideas here. Should I stop doing any exercises altogether that may put strain on my lower back? Including OHP? I'm taking caution to really brace my core when doing them.

Any help is highly appreciated, thanks in advance

Your form is trash. Get a coach.

Also, pick up a tens machine and a lacrosse ball. Use tens machine to exhaust the muscle then dig into it with the lacrosse ball.

Fair enough, thanks for responding. Let's assume I finally get my form down to a T for my body type, should I lay off the squats/diddles until the pain goes away?

i have bad posture. i have a weak upper body. i already deadlift. is the pulley machine any good? maybe with a light-ish load to do semi cardio?

Need some help/advice please. I haven't quite found something that /fit/s my symptoms.

>maybe two months ago
>left knee starts hurting
>had been too busy to go to gym
>so didn't injure it there
>have been doing nothing strenuous
>baby my knee for a while
>gets worse
>feels really tight
>painful if I cross my legs
>go to gym and do light stair step workout
>pain gone till next morning
>stiff and tight when I wake up
>last night get fed up
>try squats
>empty bar=no problem
>add 50lbs
>fifth squat feel discomfort
>like a string of discomfort going down the inside of my left leg next to knee
>stop and try leg extensions/leg curls
>those don't hurt but feel uncomfortable
>wake up next morning and knee pain is gone
>don't notice stiffness
>just now starts coming back about halfway through day

I don't have a fucking clue what this is does it sound familiar to any of you?

I'm 33 and about 40 pounds overweight which I know doesn't help the situation. I just wanna put a name to this.

Do you have a foam roller or some kind of ball? You can also use your elbow, but it's not as effective.
Try massaging the insertions above and around the knee, especially the vastus medialis on inside of your leg. It's gonna fucking hurt.

Just go gym and do running. Honestly I did the full about a month ago most of it was super easy but a lot of running. Make sure you can swim a little and honestly there was a lot of unfit people so it wasn't a challenge I went with a qt3.14 bubba who I really likes but didn't make a move apart from holding hands becsuse of my fucking undeniable autism

Anyone else here getting a sudden rush of anger when seeing a dyel or anyone who looks like shit and doesn't seem to be aware at all ? If it's really bad dont go, hot milk with honey right before you sleep. In the evening hit the gym with 2 to 3 paracetamol/ibuprofen sweat it out dont stay too long because aircon and 3rd day you should be fine after hot milk and honey on second day
