Sup, /owg/?
I have a home now and I plan to build a home gym in my 3x6m^2 garage. I have 0 common sense about equipment quality other than some gyms have slim & straight barbells, while others have fat, bent barbells and uneven, chipped plates. I need something that can withstand Power Cleans (under 100kg).
What am I looking for? Iron, rubber, vinyl? Can someone advice me on this set:
http://www.powerhouse-fitness.co.uk/bodymax-olympic-rubber-radial-barbell-kit-185kg.php
Look how much more expensive is the Olympic set:

I will deadlift and power clean over a couple layers of plywood ofc.

You definitely want a decent quality bar. Not necessarily an Eleiko or Uesaka, but something that will spin well and with a decent knurling. In the US, Rogue makes pretty good bars at a lower cost than the IWF official bars, not sure about their availability in the UK. I know strength shop is pretty big in the UK, but can't speak to the quality of their equipment. You'll want to use olympic bumpers so that your plates are all uniform size, although the quality of your bumper plates is a lot less important than the quality of the bar. As for your home gym, you'll probably wanna line your floor with horse stall mats so that your floor is safe.

Hey /fit/, first time posting on this board and want to lose body fat weight.
So I remember in college that I weighed about 350 pounds with a large percentage of body fat, and the cafeteria food always gave people the squirts and people in my dorm usually reduced their meal tickets to two meals a day instead of three, and at one point I decided to stop eating at the cafeteria and I fasted, starving myself to the point I lost about 100 pounds of body fat. I would've kept going but I was concerned about safety. Anyways, I remember looking at myself and I didn't look too bad.
Now fast forward some years and I'm back to around the same body weight. I want to try fasting again, but this time with proper supplements and nutrients so I don't starve myself. I remember I lacked vitamin D and some other nutrients after I starved myself at college, but I also stopped being pre-diabetic.
So for any of you who know about fasting, could you help me out? I know I should be drinking more water when not eating to replace the water weight in food, but other than that I don't know what else to supplement when I begin fasting, other than making sure I have enough electrolytes.
Could you guys give me a list of stuff I could maybe get delivered from Amazon? I live in the States.
I should mention I'm about 5'10".

Google is better than this board
>>42076517
Yeah but how do I make calculations based on my traits of how much nutrients I need?
What do you all do for a living?
How much do you make?
Does it affect your fitness goals?
I'm looking for inspiration, I have an associates degree already and I want to return to school to pursue a bachelors so I can stop being trapped in shit work. I really would like to do something weight loss/fitness related but is there really any viable careers in that?
>>42076321
I'm exiting the military here shortly and working on becoming a fixed wing pilot. Seems like a career path woth plenty of flexibility and room for gains due to FAA regulations.
I am in the air force. Sometimes extra duties and other things cause me to miss a workout, but overall I have plenty of time for the gym and such

>mfw my only excuse for not going vegan is because I'd have to give up all my junk food in order to continue hitting my macros for bodybuilding.
>tfw if you're vegan you can't just get 150g of protein from chicken breast and eat the rest of your calories from junk food
>tfw if you're vegan you need to ensure you use every calorie you can as best as you can in order to get enough protein
I guess that kind of makes being vegan or vegetarian more healthier by default lol
huh, apparently i only need to lose about 4 pounds to be in 'contest condition'
>>42076041
This seems suspiciously low end. Maybe for people who don't do regular training and track nutrition this is true, but for people going into contest I doubt it.
>>42076028
>protein shake in the morning
>some oats or something
>eat some tofurkey or something for lunch
>maybe a protein bar
>eat some lentils or tofu or seitan for dinner

EB GOAT!
Why did no one tell me about possible dehydration due to running? I've started running 5 miles a day this past week for 7 days straight. I've been drenched in sweat each time, drinking what I thought was adequate water each time (I was wrong), and I have completely lost the urge to pee despite drinking a lot of water for the past 4 days. No pee. Turns out I dehydrated myself.
Granted I've lost a lot of pounds but still.
Not sure how you didn't pick up that sweating a lot would dehydrate you.
Thirst is the signal when you should drink water. Your actual problem is probably the depletion of electrolytes, eat more salt.
Because people probably assumed that you were more intelligent than the average 12 year old
>i am 20 years old

BULLLLLLLLLLL
SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT
mmm comfy joy joy relax snorlax poopy farts
Tfw only 4.5 inches long.
What do /fit/? It's killing my self esteem
No one is ever going to see it so why does it matter
>>42074699
OP, just deal with it. 6.7 here and thanks to constant Internet I feel the anxiety every so slowly creeping. The whole thing is just one big ruse.
>>42074699
I'm a girl and I'd love to suck shy, insecure dick like yours OP. It would fit perfectly. Jokes aside cutie, it honestly doesn't matter that much if you're good at sex.
I'm 6', and 200lbs.
Estimated 1 rep maxes in lbs:
Squat: 250
Deadlift: 320
Bench: 190
OHP: 120 :(
Pullups: 1 rep bw + 60lbs :)
Pendlay Row: 180
I took a 16:8 if feeding window using Leangains macros but I think I took IIFYM way too far and ate a LOT of shitty processed fast food. I have learned my lesson.
I have jumped routines from lvysaur to my own tweaked lvysaur to now 2suns but for the past 3 months I've been very consistent with my compounds.
What should I do... I want to gain mass, especially in my lagging shoulders and arms... but I acknowledge I have become a fatty.
Help me improve /fit/. I donno what my bf is but id guess ~%20
Also, if you have 6' @ 200lb pics please post for comparison.
Also I just ate a fuckin massive meal I look much leaner in the mornings :/
Disgusting.
Bellies on females is perfectly natural and sexy.
Females should only focus on squats and lunges for aesthetics

>Actually wasting your energy on the nofap method
It's like you like cucking yourself out of gains.
Attempt the futafap challenge. Basically you masturbate only to tranvestites, shemales, futanari and every type of transgender porn for two years.
After you grind through two years you will unlock incredible testosterone energy. Massive test boost, confidence boost.
The fuck are you waiting for nigger? Go download some tranny packing asap or get cucked out of making it for the rest of your life.
